1.Aim of knowledge: The pupils can learn to master the new sentence pattern:
A. It s opposite and next to, B. First you go left, then go straight ahead.
2.Aim of ability: The pupils can read the lyrics of the song.
3.Aim of emotion: The pupils like to sing this song with the right rhyme.
4.Cultural sence: The pupils would like to use English to give and receive
information about places and to communicate with others. 教学重难点:
1.The pupils can use words and expresstions to give and receive
information about places. Such as: opposite, next to, go left, go straight ahead.
2.The pupils can sing the song: see you at tonys.
教具准备:map, sign of directions.
教学步骤:
Step1. Warming up 1.
Greetings

Look and say.Review the words of places. Step2. Presentation
1.
Introduce the first paragraph of the song .Listen and answer. a.
T:Dina wants to go to the town.She is phoning to Toby. Listen to the conversation. b.
Now let’s listen to the song and answer. “What can you get in town?”
c.
Ask the pupils to answer “You get the best ice cream in town.”
d.
T:”Where can you get the best ice cream in town?”
Ss : At Tony’s. e.
Listen and repeat. 2.Listen and find. a.T: Excuse me,where is the Tony’s shop?
It’s next to the school. It’s opposite the park.(利用PPT箭头指出并板书。) b.Look and say. 3.
Listen and learn paragraph 4.”How can you get to the Tony’s shop? a.Ask the pupils to identify “left
right ,and ahead”
