教学设计

教学目标：

1.能够掌握单词及句子：“big ,small,long ,short. It has. .. And...”。

2.能听懂、会说、会认读形容词:“ big， small， long，

short”并用以上句型和单词简单的描述动物。

3.能听懂、会说句子：“Make your eyes big.Make your eyes small. Make your arms long. Make your arms short”,并按指令做动作。

4.通过本节课的学习，让学生能够爱动物，懂得动物是世界不可缺少的一部分；进一步激发学生学习英语的兴趣，享受学习过程带来的乐趣。

教学重点：

1.能听、说、认读形容词及句子：“big, small, long, short It has... And...”。

2.能够听懂Let’s do中的指令并做出正确的动作。

教学难点：

能够掌握单词big, small, long, short 的正确读音，能够在It has ...And...句式中灵活运用本课所学的形容词。

教学准备：

PPT课件、单词卡片、若干个气球。

教学过程：

Ⅰ.Warm-up/Revision 1.Let’s do（P25）

2.Review the words.(教师出示tall,short,thin,fat的单词卡片，让学生逐一读出。) 3.Free talk. 设计意图：通过节奏感较强的Let’ do,把学生引入轻松愉悦的英语氛围中，并复习旧知。

Ⅱ. Presentation 1. 课件出示，导入新授单词:big,small,long,short (1) Big head son and small head dad（课件出示人物图片，对比他们身体部位的不同，引出新授单词。）

(2) 教学单词big,small,long,short 2. To read the new words, write them on the blackboard and read them in different ways. (1) High and low voice (2) Magic fingers (3) Boys and girls 设计意图：通过多种形式的读，既增强了课堂的趣味性，又加深了对新学单词的理解。

3. To teach the new sentences.(课文课件出示，让学生对比图中句型有什么变化？然后进行讲解领读。) (1) It has a small head. (2) And a short tail. (3) To take some more examples: a. It has long legs. b.It has a big body c.It has long legs and a big body. 4. Listen to the tape, imitate and read the words and sentences. Ⅲ. Practice 1.Game:吹气球

2.Game:蹲萝卜

3.Game:Trick game 设计意图：通过以上几个学生感兴趣的活动，训练学生的思维、应变能力、观察能力。

Ⅳ. Consolidation and extension 1.Let’s do (课件出示) 教师放录音，带领学生做动作1-2遍。

2.Read and match (课件出示）

设计意图：通过趣味恒生的Let’s do,使学生做到心、口、手和听、说、做相结合，强化知识，激发学习兴趣。
