Textbook analysis: when asking someone “你（或其他人）有什么吗？”,we usually use these structures--do you/they have...?,Does she/he have...? etc.

do/does(三单) have/has(三单). Also it involves the answers to these questions.The conversations in 3a focus on the title--Do you have a soccer ball,including several new phrases--sound good,play basketball,and a few daily situational live communication sentences. Student analysis: having some vocabullary foundation,it makes it possible for students to play the conversations in 3a. And it is difficult for most of the students to play in public.Therefore, it is very necessary and useful for reserved students to have a try and overcome themselves. Teaching method: situational and task-based teaching method, learning by speaking. Teaching tools: Multi-media,blackboard,pictures. Teaching goals 1.To understand and remember the key words and sentences in this lesson as much as possible. 2.To speak English aloud and practice the coversations in 3b with a partner. 3.To grasp the usage of do/does. 4.To improve the ability of memorizing and speaking in public.

Teaching procedures Step1. Review some key words in last lesson and dictation. Step2. Presentation

Show a picture to catch students’

attention. Present the sentences in Grammar Focus. Step3.Practice sentences a.And practice the sentences by parting them into two groups.

b.Correct their pronunciation and intonation.

c. Read after the teacher. d.Practice these sentences by asking the questions.

Step 4. Look carefully and think the usage of do/does and have/has.

do/does and have/has by analyzing the sentences we have learned in Grammar Focus .

Teaching reflection

Through this lesson, most students became much more interested in learning English. But several students got worried because he or she didn’t remember new words and could not follow me. Also, they couldn’t catch up with other students’ speed. However, it is very normal. In the future, I can care more about and lead them properly in order to make them all grasp.
