Ⅰ. Material analysis 本单元以“School Subject”为话题，选材于学生的日常生活，十分符合学生实际。七年级的学生现在已经开始学习各种科目：语文，数学，英语，生物，历史，地理、美术、音乐等。学习生活有了紧凑的安排，每天的课程都排得满满的。学生有自己喜欢的科目，有自己的学习计划。通过讨论学习，能够提高他们的学习兴趣，进行合理的学习安排。SectionB 提供了新的语境，拓展了本单元的语言知识和话题内容。让学生学会用更多描述性形容词表达自己喜欢的校园活动；通过阅读让学生掌握如何用电子邮件来表达自己一天的学习和活动安排。帮助他们树立合理安排时间，平衡学习和课余爱好的自我管理意识。

Ⅱ. Teaching objective 1. Knowledge objectives 1) 能掌下列词汇useful ,Mrs., finish , lesson , hour, free, busy, boring, difficult, easy, interesting , fun, from ….to

2) 能掌握以下句型：

a. The teacher says it is useful , but I think it is difficult . b. Lunch is from 12:00 to 1:00 , and after that we have Chinese . c. My classes finish at 1:50 , but after that I have an art lesson for two hours . 3) 能就所喜欢的科目这一话题进行问答交流，正确表达自己的情感。

2. Skill objectives 1) 通过听，说等一些活动培养良好的听力习惯和能力。

2）通过自学和合作学习，学会简单询问科目方面的英语表达。

3. Emotional objectives 1)通过对短文的学习，进一步了解信的书写格式

Ⅲ. The key points and difficult points 1. 教学重点：

1) 通过听、说、读的教学活动，让学生掌握科目的相关词汇。

2) 通过对话表演让学生在较为真实的的语境下，学会询问和谈论自己喜好的学科并给出理由。

2. 教学难点：

1）学会询问和谈论自己喜好的学科并给出理由。

2）what，who, why 引导的特殊疑问句的构成和使用和时间的不同表达。

Ⅳ. Learning strategies 1. 展示法：通过多媒体，给出生活中熟悉的人物，激发学生学习乐趣。

2.合作学习：通过小组内的对话演练，增强学生练习积极性以及对短语的熟悉度。

Step1 Lead-in 1.

Present seven days in a week.

T Shows some pictures of calendar. Teach Ss how to express seven days in a week. (Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday Friday and Sunday) 2. Present some new adjectives(free, busy, cool, difficult, easy) T Shows a picture of someone who is busy doing sth. Write the word "busy" on blackboard. Then show a picture of someone who is lying on the beach to rest. Write the word "free" on the blackboard. Then show a very cool boy with nice clothes. Write the word "cool" on the blackboard.

Step 2 Work on 1a. Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right.

Check the answers. Then let Ss ask answer like this: What’s your favorite subject? Why do you like it?

Step3 Listening 1.

Listen to the recording and check (√) the words you hear in 1a. Then check the answers. 2.

Work on 1c. Listen again and circle the classes David talks about on the schedule. Then check the answers. 3.

Listen for the third time and fill in the blanks. Step 4 Pair work 1. Look at the schedule above and complete the conversation in 1d.

Ss work in pairs to complete the conversation. Then let some read out the conversation to check the answers. 2. Ss practice the conversation with his or her partner.
