Module 5 Unit 2 It`s too big for you ! 一、教材分析：

本课是《新标准英语第六册》（三年级起始）第五模块第二单元的教学内容，所教授的新知是运用所学的形容词来描述事物的特征并学会表达自己的看法。

二、学情分析： 本课教学对象是五年级学生，他们好动、活泼、开朗，对英语有着比较强的学习兴趣，并具有一定的英语基础，喜欢小组合作学习，有良好的课堂合作学习习惯。

三．教学目标:

1、学习并能口头运用It’s too big for you.这类语句说明不同意见。

2、学习单词：too，lovely ,try.

掌握并运用句型：

It’s too big for you.

Try this white one. 3、帮助学生在词语与相应事物之间建立联想；鼓励学生积极与他人合作，共

同完成学习任务。 四．教学重点与难点

学习运用： It’s too big for you.

学会运用： look at it’s too… for ...

卡片、图片、照片、实物。 六．教学过程： （一）、课前热身 Greeting Sing：Nice to meet you。

(二)导入新课

1.Last lesson we learnt some adjectives,let’s review them. Show pictures（板书）

big–small tall-short fat-thin young-old long-short 2. Play a game: Let’s say and do some actions. I say “long” and you say “short”

Are you ready? Now ,together! (跟老师唱反调) 3.Guess. Yesterday I bought a new thing, it’s about clothes.it’s small and new.It’s nice and cute.It’s black and white.It’got some letters on it.I can put it on my head.What’s it? Show a cap. Do you want to have a try? （板书try）

S1,It’s too big for her.(板书too) S2. It’s too small for him. Summary:it’s too big or too small for you.

Put it on and say: how is it?(板书lovely) it’s nice for me.（板书it’s too…）
