教材简析:
本课教材是外语教学与研究出版社《英语》(三年级起点)六年级上册Module 8 Unit 1 Do you often play with dolls?本单元的主要内容是谈论自己的生活习惯。本单元的课文情境是Amy向Lingling展示自己的照片。本单元的学习重点是复习频度副词及巩固一般现在时。在新标准英语三年级起点第二册和第三册中,分别出现过一般现在时的疑问句形式Do you like…? 和 Do you want…?的用法,本课在复习Do you…?的基础上,出现Do you often…?句型,进一步巩固行为动词一般现在时的用法。
学情分析:
对于六年级学生来说,一般现在时的疑问句形式并不陌生,学生三、四年级时便掌握Do you like…?和Do you want…?的用法,学生们对其使用已有一定基础。通过本课学习,使学生能运用Do you often…?这类句型谈论日常生活习惯。谈论日常生活习惯的语言结构本身有一定的难度,教师应注意帮助有困难的学生尽可能巩固、强化所学内容,达成学习目标。
设计理念:
本单元的学习任务与日常生活紧密相关,要求学生调查

学生的日常生活习惯,并且写一篇介绍自己日常生活的小短文。教师应指导学生正确运用频度副词和行为动词的一般现在时。
教学目标:
1.理解运用:Do you often play with dolls?句型。
2.能够听说词汇:long ago, I’d love to, not, really, stop, clean, camera, show,stop, clean等。
3.可以使用“Do you often…”的句型表达生活中的实际情况。
教学重、难点:
1.学会运用频率副词often来询问和表达常做的事情。
2.Not really. Yes, of course. Not very often.等在语境下的正确运用。

(一)热身导入

T: Do you watch TV on Sundays? S1: No, I don’t. T: Do you watch TV on Sundays? S2: Yes, I do. T: Yes. I often watch TV on Wednesdays. (教学: “often”.) (设计意图:通过师生问答,来激发学生热情,活跃课堂气氛,创设浓厚的英语学习环境,为下一步教学做好铺垫。)
(二)学习Activity 1。
1.课件展示图画,引入课文。
Who are they in the picture? Ss: They are Amy and Lingling. T: What are they doing? S: They are looking at photos. 2.听音,然后回答问题。 T: Look at this photo, is it interesting? Ss: Yes. T: Who took it? Let’s watch the video, then answer the questions. T: Who took it? S: Amy’s grandpa took it.

T: And when? S: Long ago. (教学: “long ago”.) T: Is it new? Ss: It’s old. (设计意图:借助课件,让学生在浅显易懂在氛围中,轻松愉快地掌握课文内容。)
3.听音,跟读。
(三)学习Activity 2。
1.教师引导,进入活动2的学习。并且板书M8U1 Do you often play with dolls? 2.听录音,完成选择题。
(1) They are looking at__________ photos. A. Amy’s B. Lingling’s (2) How many photos in the story? T: No1. They are looking at __________ photos. Ss: Amy’s. T: How many photos in the story? Ss: There are four. 3. 再听录音,判断句子是否与课文内容相符。(T: Do you want to know more about Amy? Let’s Listen again and judge.)

5.小结:
(1) Do you often…?:当我们想了解对方是否经常做某事时,我们可以用Do you often…?来询问。
(2) Do you like…?:当我们想了解对方是否喜欢做某事时,我们可以用Do you like…?来询问。
(3) like doing sth.:表达喜欢做某事时,要注意like后面的动词要用动名词。

(4)often是表示经常性的动作,意思为“常常、经常”。此词一般用于动词之前,be和助动词之后。
