教学内容

Unit2 They were young.本课时是第一单元的巩固课，是对第一单元的巩固和延伸，主要是含有be动词一般过去时的肯定句和否定句的运用。

教材分析

本课时的课文情境是对比过去与现在的不同，展示了三组说明过去与现在不同的图片。第一幅图是爷爷奶奶拿着他们年轻时的照片，现在已经老了。第二幅图是女孩拿着自己小时候的照片，她现在很高，不过照片上却很矮。第三幅图是现在和过去教室的对比照片，现在教师很干净，不过之前很脏。

2.To introduce your

本节课重点介绍了过去式was, were的肯定形式及否定形式。通过课前游戏的形式复习了was,were,then,young,old，调动学生的学习积极性，营造英语学习的氛围，并为本节课描述过去的状态奠定基础。通过出示图片，进行对比，运用一般过去时和一般现在时进行描述，反义词互换引出weren’t,wasn’t，同时做到词不离句，句不离词。让学生在动画课件的真实情境中感受课文，加深学生的记忆，提高他们的口语运用能力。

同时本节课也存在一些不足之处：

weren’t 和then两个单词学生读不准。

2.

在运用环节，学生能把课文熟读，但是运用能力还是不到位，对图片进行描述时，经常将两种时态混淆，说明学生对过去时掌握还是不够扎实。

3.学生活动较少，师生活动较多。
