Topic: My dream house 教学目标:
1.能初步学习与操练本单元的核心词汇,如:east, south, west, north等
2.能初步运用It faces…来表达房屋的朝向
3. 整合新旧知识,能初步运用It’s in the …of... It faces... There is/are ... You can see/hear...doing...等句型较为完整地描述自己喜欢的房屋,形成一定的空间概念
4.通过观察体验不同的房屋特点,激发学生想象力,鼓励学生设计自己梦想中房屋。
教学过程:
Pre-task:
一、Warming-up T:I’ve got a song for you! Let’s sing together. T:Do you know this song?Do your parents take you go outside? Where do they take you to go outside? T: Today I’ll take you to travel! When we plant a trip what do we need? We also need a map and a compass. While-task: 一、出示方位简写
T: Look! Here’s a map of China. Please pay attention here. This sign can tell us the direction. 上北下南,左西右东。
In English we call them.(east, west, north, south)老师画图标,方位简写
二、教学方位
T: China is a big country. I’ve got a video. Let’s watch. T: There are many beautiful cities in China. 1.
教学east/________in the east of China. T: Shanghai is in the east of China.(板书:east)There are some cities in the east of China too. Can you say about them? 2.
教学west/__________in the west of China. T:Where is Lasa? Is it in the east of China? It’s in the west of China.(板书:west). Look, these cities are in the west of China. 3. 教学north/ ______in the north of China. T: Where is Beijing? It’s in the north of China. (板书:north) 4.
教学south/________in the south of China. T: Hainan Island is in the south of China. Sanya is in the south of Hainan Island. 5.
T: China is a big country. The cities are very nice. Do you love China? Let’s read the rhyme. 三、It’s in the east of the forest. It faces... T: Today I’ll take you to the north of China. In the north of China, there’s a big forest.
T: In the forest, you should complete three tasks. Please have a look.(Read the tasks)
T:Look,here is the map of the forest. Where is the first house?
1、出示第一间房屋
T: I’ve got three questions about the first house. Please listen and think. T: Where is the house? The house is in the east of the forest. Where doest it face? It faces east. It faces means:朝向(跟读It faces...) T: This is my home. Look at the windows. They face north. Look at the living room. It faces west. How about the other?(操练It faces...) T: What can you see beside the house? ...you can see the sun rising in the east.
T: You can see a lawn beside the house. So we can call it “Lawn House”
T: Can you read it? 2、出示第二间房屋
(回到地图)T:We have found the first house. Where is it? Look at the second house. Where is it?(It’s in the west of the forest.) T: Let’s listen to the passage. Then fill in the blanks. Who can read it? T: Do you like the house? Can you give it a name? (Lake House) 3、两间房屋作比较(初步操练Why?Because...) T:Do you like the Lawn House or the Lake House? T: Why? Because...(板书I can...) 4、出示第三间房屋
(回到地图)T:We have found two houses. Where are they? Where is the third house? Let’s have a look. T: Please read it by yourself.(请几个同学读一读)
T: There are some questions. Who can ask? Who can answer. (请一个同学提问,其他同学回答)
T: Can you give it a name? (Flower House) T:Do you like the Flower House? Why? Maybe you don’t like it? Why not? (学生操练)板书:There is/are... 5.出示第四间房屋
(回到地图)T: We have found the third house. Where ‘s it? What’s its name? T: How about the fouth house? Where is it? Let’s have a look. T: Do you like the house? Why? (请同学说一下)

Post-task 1、回顾四间房屋
T;We have found four houses. You have completed the task1. Do you remember the houses? Let’s listen again.
2、选择自己喜欢的房屋,完成任务二
T: Please look at Task 2. Choose the house you like. Say it. 3、设计自己梦想中的房屋
