1、Teaching Aims：

The topic of this unit is about subject. It’s related to daily life. They have learned some subjects. I think it’s helpful to raise learning interest of students and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English and develop their feeling to their parents , their friends and everyone around them.. 3、Important and difficult points： (1) Key words : free，cool，Tuesday，Wednesday，Thursday，Sunday，A.M.，P.M. (2) Key sentences：

What's David's favorite subject? Why does he like…？

When is the class? (3) Be able to talk about your own schedule. 4、Teaching procedures

: Step 1 Free talk What’s your favorite subject? Step 2 Lead-in and presentation 1. Present other days in a week. Teach Ss Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. 2. Present subjects they have at school. Teach politics and biology. 3. Work on 1a. Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right. Then check the answers. Step 3 Listening Work on 1b Listen and check the words you hear in 1a. Work on 1c 1. Read through the schedule. Teach A.M. and P.M. 2. Now listen to the tape and circle the classes David talks about on this schedule. 3. Ask some questions about the schedule.

Step 4 Practice Ss work in pairs to make their conversations with the structures “When do you have + 科目？” “I have + 科目 every day \ on + 星期几”

Step 5 Interview 1) Work in four, interview each of the students in the group, fill in the chart. 2) Then one student makes a report to the class. Step 6 Exercise Step 7 Summary In this class, we’ve learned some words and two structures to ask when they have their subjects and how to answer it. Through some listening, speaking and writing practice, we consolidated the target language and developed our skills. Teaching Reflection ：

本课时主要是拓展学科方面的词汇，通过听力理解来让学生进一步巩固这部分基础知识，在具体语境中锻炼听力理解能力。由于话题贴近学生的生活实际，学生的学习兴趣很浓，积极性很高，基本实现了教学目标。在小组活动中，通过谈论自己最喜欢的学科，增进了对彼此的了解，帮助学生发现自己最喜欢和最擅长的学科，引导其进一步学习。
