Teaching Aims：

At the end of the lesson, students can be able to: 1. Be more familiar with expressions of describing attitudes: boring, difficult, busy, interesting, fun, cool, easy, free etc. 2. Describe their favorite subjects to their partners. 3. Discover what they like most and tell the reasons. Key Points：

While listening, students can circle some key words which are required to be mastered. 2. Students can be brave and confident enough to express their favor in a certain subject. Difficult Points： 1.

Students should know what a schedule means. 2.

Students should learn to understand what a schedule involves and how to make it clear. Teaching Method：Task-based teaching method Teaching procedures：

Step 1 Lead in and revision Play a video what's your favorite subject? T: What is the video about? Ss: It is about what's your favorite subject? T: what's his favorite subject? Ss:...... T: what's his favorite subject? Ss:..... T: clever!And let's go on learning the knowledge （设计意图：通过这个活动使学生迅速热身，激发他们学习新单词的兴趣，导入新课。）

Step 2 Presentation& Practice Presentation 1 Learn new words. Show the class schedule to the students, and lead students to learn the

new words: This is Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday / Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday / Sunday . We have math at 8：05 A.M. on Monday．

We have art at 3：00 P.M on Tuesday．

We are very busy from Monday to Friday, but we are free on Saturday and Sunday. Brainstorm Ask students the question: What's your favorite teacher/ food/ subject/ singer...? Why? Why not? Collect as many descriptions as we can, and teach the new words: cool and free. Why? Why not?

Practice 1 Finish Section B 1a . Presentation 2 Ask Ss questions about the schedule in 3c: What classes does David have on Monday? What classes does David have on the morning of Tuesday? ... These questions can help students get familiar with the schedule. Practice 2 1. Listen and finish 1b. (Listen and check the words you hear in 1a.) 2.Listen again and finish 1c. (Circle the classes David talks about on this schedule.) 3.Listen and repeat. Then talk about David’s favorite subject with your partner. （设计意图：让学生在有任务的情况下去听，让学生学会抓住听力材料的主要内容及一些细节性的问题，提高学生的听力技能。）

以与本课联系密切的英语视频导入，不仅活跃了课堂气氛、调动了学生学习的积极性，还帮助学生有效地练习了一周七天的单词。本节课依然以学生为主体，采用任务型教学，在完成教材设置的不同形式的练习中引导学生掌握几组反义词、整点时间和非整点时间的读法以及练习谈论他人最喜欢的学科、原因及上课时间。
