Teaching aims:

New words : I am aah hello ooh goodbye (bye-bye) .

The students can use “hello or hi ”, and can introduce theirselves “I’m …” .Also they can communicate with others in the simple way . Teaching importants :

1.The new words learning .

2.Introduce theirselves “I’m …”, and communicate with others in the simple way .

Teaching difficulties :

The pronunciation of “ I’m , Sam ” .(In the end , they should close their mouths .)

Teaching procedures :

Step 1 Warm up

1.T say “Hi / Hello ” to the students , and say sth they know .

2.T tell them the rules in the class again.

Step 2 Presentation

1.write “Hi / Hello ” on the bb , ask 1 s to read .

2.Devide groups .

Step 3 New teaching

1.T teach them to read these 2 words again .

2.Let them say hello one by one .

3.T: Hello! I’m Miss Wen . Please use “I’m …”to introduce yourselves.

4.Ss show : “I’m …” .(with actions)

5.Listen to the record , and point .

6.Learn “Goodbye, bye-bye” .

7.Listen again , read follow it .

8.Ask some Ss to read it by themselves .
