教学目标与要求：

1.能听、说、读、写，并运用单词与短语study,work,have a picnic,by car,by taxi,on foot. 2.能够听懂、会说Listen and say 中的对话，并能够与同学合作，表演出对话中有关动作的短语。

3.能够听懂、会说本单元主要句型Where do you have your piano lesson?How do you go there?并能够根据自己的实际情况做出相应的回答。 4.培养学生的课余爱好和正确的生活方式。 5.通过本课的学习，找到学生的兴趣点，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

教学重点、难点 重点：

1.能听说读写并运用本单元的单词与短语。 2.能听懂会说本单元的主要句型，并根据自己的实际情况作出相应的回答。 3.能听懂运用短语on weekends,并复习以前学过的after school等。 难点：

by car,by taxi, on foot的运用。注意短语by 后面没有修饰词，直接连接交通工具，表示乘坐...（交通工具）。

教学过程：

一、Step 1 Warming up 1.Greetings 2. Have a chant. 3.Free talk. T:So what do you usually do ? You know, Saturday and Sunday，we also call them “weekends”. Practice “weekend”. “on weekends” So today we will learn Unit 8 On weekends. 二、Step 2 Presentation 1.What do you usually do on weekends? 2.对回答的学生问“Where do you ...”让学生感知Where句型。 3.教学have a picnic时，提问Where do you have a picnic？ S1：In a park. T：Look, have a picnic. 操练，并板书 i，i,/i/,c,c,/k/. T: Who usually have a picnic on weekends?(生举手) T：Oh, so many people.Now let’s ask them together.OK? Ss: ok.Where do you have a picnic? S1,S2,Ok, now ask one by one.Ask like this. 4.学生做对话 T：Some of us usually have a picnic on weekends,What about you? What else?Can you ask and answer? 3教学study 当学生回答I usually have an English class 时，强调“At an English school.”出示English school 图片，并同时出现音乐学校和美术学校图片，让学生知道用英语怎样说，可以在这类学校习什么。进而引出单词study）出示

单词study.操练st, st ,/sd/,u,u,/ /,dy,dy /di/ 4.接着提问How do you go there? T：Oh,you study hard.So how do you go there? Let’s ask together.(板书) Ss:By car./ By taxi./On foot./By bike./By bus. 让学生回答交通方式，by car 与on foot之前接触过，所以出示图片，贴板书，学生repeat.by taxi 要适当操练(a,a,/ /,who can read? Spell it.)。 讲解过程中向学生渗透，无论哪种交通方式，都要注意安全。 5.T:Ok, Great.I know some of your weekends, How about Xiao Hui and Bob’s?Do you want to know? 1. Hello,Bob.What do you usually do on weekends? Go hiking. 2. Hello,Xiao Hui, What do you usually do on weekends? Do some housework and have a piano lesson. (出示have a piano lesson 图片,介绍他和have a piano class 相同。并延伸I also have an English lesson/have an art lesson...） T:You all did a good job. Now, read the text then find the answers. 1.Where does Xiaohui have her piano lesson? At a music school. 提问：Is it far? A little. 出示far, not far, a little, 学生感知。 2.How does she go there? By bike.(出示图片） T:This time,follow me yo read the text. T: can you read the text by yourselves? Read it in role. Fill in the blanks. Step3 Practice Step4 Emotional education. Step5 homework: 1.Read and write the main words and sentences. 2.Talk about your weekends with your friends and show it to your parents!
