Unit 5 My New Room

——Story time

一、教学内容：PEP小学英语五年级上册Unit 5 My New Room—Story time 二、教学目标：

1.复习巩固unit5基础词汇：in, on, under, ear, in front of和There be句型。

2.听说生词recycle bin，hurry，busy，

push，riverbank；了解生词kick，

blow，surprise。

3.

能够读懂故事，正确理解故事内容，提高听说能力，扮演对话部分。

4.通过激发啤酒罐回家这个故事，激发学生助人为乐，并养成不乱扔垃圾，

和旧物回收利用的好习惯。

三、教学重、难点：

1．复习巩固词汇：in，on，under，near，in front of，和There be句型。

2．正确听说生词，并能积极、主动且准确地表演故事。

四、教具准备：

一支笔、PPT课件、一段动画、贴画

五、教学过程：

Step Ⅰ Warming-up

1. Greetings. （略）

2. Let’s sing:

Use the rhythm of ABC songs. And do as you sing. Put the pen in /on /near /under your hand. 3.Let’s talk. —Where’s the pen?

—It’s in my hand. There is a pen in my hand. (通过师生相互问候及TPR活动，创造了轻松愉快的学习氛围，同时引导学生复习已学的方位词及there be句型，激活相关的知识，为之后教学进行铺垫。) Step Ⅱ

Preview 通过啤酒罐工艺品图片展示，让同学们大胆猜想，它们都是由什么做成的？

从而引出故事的主角beer can。

Guess: what are they made of ?Beer cans图片形象直观，能激发同学们的兴趣。

Step Ⅲ

Presentation and Practice

1.Hello,I’m a Beer Can. I have lost my way back home. Can you help me ? (第一人称自述啤酒罐的苦恼，极其地希望有人来帮忙找到自己的家。帮助别人这个号召相信能够得到同学们的响应，人人争当小帮手。)

2、So, where’s his home? And What happens? 设置悬念，引起同学们听读故事的兴趣。

3、Let’s answer.

Watch the short cartoon and try to answer the question. 认真看动画，试着回答问题。同时结合故事的图片，解答。

How many animals are there in the story? There are eight animals in the story.

4、Let’s read. 下面，一起阅读本篇故事，熟悉故事情节。

(1)通过啤酒罐位置的移动，用Where’s the beer can?这个问题贯穿全篇，

也可以进一步复习方位介词under，near，in / in front of。

(2)讲解生词recycle bin, have to hurry, busy, riverbank; kick, blow, surprise, walking along。

借助图片、动作、情境及看过的动画了解生词。

(3)一幅幅的熟悉，领读。最后一幅基本没有生词，可以让同学们自学了。

5、Practice 在领读之后，让同学们自由分组分角色练习对话，进一步熟知故事情节和内容，同时练习口语。

Step Ⅳ Consolidation and Extension

1、Let’s act out the story. ①Miss Bird

in front of, push it to the riverbank. ④Zip and Zoom

Step Ⅴ Summary Who’s the winner?

谁得到的贴画最多。

King or Queen 同时，总结故事蕴含的道理：我们要乐于助人，要养成不乱扔垃圾，注重

环境保护和旧物回收利用的好习惯。

Step Ⅵ Homework

Please practice the dialogue in the story with your friends. And try to act it out.

提高表演要求，脱离书本，模仿对话。
