T: Good morning, boys and girls. Sit down, please.First,Let me introduce myself to you. I am from Shiyan Middle School, My name is Zhang Xiaona, you can call me Ms. Zhang. Let’s welcome all the teachers.Before our class, I’ll divide you into four groups. Group1, Group2,Group3and Group4. And please take out all your school things , to get ready for our class .Now Let’s begin our class, today we’ll study Unit 3.Is this your pencil? Section A 2a-2d. Step 2 :Lead in

Step 4: 2a Listen and check the things you hear.(Play the tape and let Group1 answer the questions one by one.)

Step 5: 2b Listen again. Complete the conversation with the words in the box. T: Before listening , look at the picture first, they are Tom, Grace and Jane. We can see they are talking about something, also, there are some school things on the floor. You can see books,erasers,ruler and so on. Now let’s read all the words together, and then listen again, try to fill in the blanks.

After finishing the listening exercise, read the conversation after the teacher. Step 6: 2c Pair work Use the objects on the students’ desk. Ask and answer with one student like this :
