Step 1 Lead-in Show students some photos about my trip. Then ask them

Who is she? Where is she?

How can she get there?

引出话题

go on a trip 吸引学生的注意力，激发他们学习的兴趣，引导他们边看图片边思考，为后面的导入做了铺垫。

Step 2 Comic Strip

1. Watch the video and answer the questions 1).Where are Hobo and Eddie? 2). Does Hobo know the way?

3). What does the sign say?

通过观看动画，让学生从视觉和听觉两方面对漫画部分有清晰的理解。让学生带问题边听边看边思考,

可以提高听的准确性,同时还能培养学生捕捉有用信息的能力，更有效地提高听力训练效果。

Step 4 Welcome to the unit

The students are planning a class trip. Can you help them find the places they plan to go ?

1).Sunshine Zoo is north of Sunshine Middle School.

2). Sunny Garden is west of the zoo. 3). Lake Park is south of Sunny Garden.

4). Sunshine Park is east of Lake Park. 通过地图和指示信息，找到目的地，进一步巩固对方位词的理解。

练习交通方式的名称，并通过图片进一步巩固。

Step5 Welcome to the unit Part B

1.

Daniel and Simon are talking about the trip. Listen and answer the questions.

1). Where are they going for their class trip? 2). Where is the zoo? 3). How will they get there? 通过听录音回答问题，理解对话内容，并注意跟读，纠正学生发音使其纯正,培养自信心。

2. We will also have a class trip next week. Please work in pairs and talk about where we are going. Use the conversation as a model. A: Where are we going for our class trip? B: We’re going to ….

A: How will we get there? B: We’ll get there by ….

实际运用，巩固所学的的方位词和交通方式的名称，人人参与课堂，组内合作，组间竞争，体现“学讲”，打造高效课堂。

Show students some beautiful pictures, about other places, other countries, and other planet. After discussion, complete the short passage. A trip to ____________ We would like to go to ____________. We can get there by ___________. We want to go there because__________________________________

这一活动是对学生综合能力的考查和提升,发散学生思维, 通过组内讨论让学生进一步巩固所学知识，并把知识进行拓展，并落实到笔头，夯实知识，

Step 7 Summary

Travelling can make us relaxed. Travelling can broaden our mind. Travelling can increase our knowledge. So let’s enjoy the trip and enjoy the life!! 本节课通过旅行这个话题，引出方位词和交通方式的学习，最后还是以旅行这个话题结束今天的课程，并对学生进行思想上的教育，告诉学生旅游的意义，并告诉学生要热爱生活。
