Step 1 Lead-in 1、Play an English songs---“An angel”, which has some sentences containing “wish”.

2、Let students pay attention to the sentences and read them together. 3、Show the students what is the subjunctive mood（The subjunctive mood is used when we want to express a wish, request, recommendation, report or a command. Also the subjunctive mood is used to express something that is contrary to the fact, highly unlikely or doubtful.）

Step 2 Presentation 1、Show the students some examples to present what the subjunctive mood is and in what situation we should use the subjunctive mood.

2、Summarize the sentence structure of the subjunctive mood. e.g.“If” clause ----------------------------------------- main clause Time

Now

Verb were/ V-ed Main Clause would/could/should/might +V（原）

Step 3 Practicing 1、

Exercises for the subjunctive mood in the learning plan, then discuss the answers with their team members. 2、

Check the answers together. Step 4 Discussing 1、

Discuss the structure of the subjunctive mood in three minutes. 2、

Use the subjunctive mood to make sentences by themselves in two minutes, and then discuss the answers with their team members in two minutes. 3、

Ask six students to write down their sentences on the blackboard, the other students read the examples in the learning plan. 4、

Check the answers from Team One to Team Six and give each team a mark. Step 5 Summarizing Review the rules of the subjunctive mood

Step 6 Homework 1．Remember the rules of the subjunctive mood. 2．Exercises 1, 2 on p 7~8 <<随堂优化>>.
