一、教材内容分析：

本课时是冀教版五年级英语下册第二单元的第一课，课文内容是延续上一单元李明、Jenny、Danny和李夫人一行四人去北京旅行，现在到达北火车站，在车站谈论的一些话题。教学内容贴近学生生活，有利于培养他们在真实情境中

用英语进行交际的能力。本课涉及到了一些复杂的可数名词单数变复数的词汇及句型，在口语交际时，也要注意句型中单复数的正确应用。

二、学生情况分析：

对于名词单复数，学生对可数名词变复数（+s）的形式很熟悉，对其他变复数形式知道的较少。本课中出现的特殊变化形式（men\women\children），学生是初次接触。学生对单复数句型变化有所了解，但应用中还不熟悉，经常会出现错误。在教学中应该注重口语练习，以巩固所学知识。

三、教学目标：

1. 掌握本课四会单词：men, women, children, people, many 2. 能够正确运用四会单词：men, women, children, people, many 3. 培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感。教育学生在社会中做到尊老爱幼、遵守社会公共秩序。小组合作，互相帮助。
