Unit 3 At the zoo

Animal friends教学设计

教学内容:本课以PEP人教版三年级下册Unit 3 Story time故事教学为主体,拓展新的动物单词及与动物相关的词汇。

教材分析:本部分通过Zoom和Zip比赛认识动物,重现了已学的部分动物单词和形容词,并拓展了新的动物单词lion,fox,wolf, zebra,gorilla,horse。教材通过一个较为有意义的语篇,增加学生的语言输入,使得学生逐步适应文本阅读。

教学重难点:学生需要分析书本上四组动物的共性及区别;理解句子:The small one is a monkey,the big one is a gorilla.并可以适当的拓展。

教具学具:动物卡片、PPT、动物朋友视频剪辑。

教学过程:

Step 1 Lead-in

1、T:Hello,boys and girls,let’s sing together!播放英文歌《Animals in the jungle》,师生一起做动作,学动物叫。(鸟、猴子、老虎、蛇、鳄鱼、狮子)。

2、T:Do you like the song? What’s the song about?(Animals)板书课题：Animals

T:What animals can you see in the song?学生讲述自己在

歌中看见的动物，教师适时提问：Do you like it? What colour is it? Act like it…

3、Do you know other animals?学生说出自己知道的动物。

[设计说明：通过与动物相关的歌曲激趣导入，让学生说出自己看见的动物及自己知道的动物，帮他们回忆与本课主题相关的词汇。]

Step 2 Presentation

1、T:Wow,you are so smart!You know so many animals!Zoom and Zip also know many animals,and they are playing a game about animals!Does Zoom know all the animals?Let’s watch and answer.播放书本故事视频。

2、出示书本故事完整图片，So,does Zoom know all the animals?

No.Why?

3、出示猴子、猩猩图片，问：Are they monkeys?齐读no no,oops!

4、Who are they?引导学生对比猴子和猩猩的区别并板书big、small、thin、fat、long…出示书上文本:The small one is a

monkey,the big one is a gorilla.猴子和猩猩图片欣赏。

5、They are monkey and gorilla,do you know all the animals?出示书本四组动物图片,学生说一组,教师贴一组动物卡片。

6、分组对比每组动物的相似及区别。教师用语:How do you feel?which one do you like?…老虎和狮子,共性big,king of the animals,斑纹不同,狮子头大…狼和狐狸,共性smart,长相相似,大小不同…马和斑马,共性tall,fast,斑纹不同…7、Let’s chant:

T:We know these animals,let’s chant about them.在前面的动物讲解中,chant的句子已经无形出现了,播放chant的录音,让学生觉得新鲜有趣。

8、Group work:Now,let’s help the animals to make friends!在学生觉得有趣的时候,适时把主导权给他们,PPT出示动物,让学生给动物找朋友,也可以用书本外的动物。分组模仿老师的

chant范本,自编chant。小组讨论出展示方式。

9、Show time:分组展示自己的chant。

[设计说明:以书本故事为主体,引导学生认识及区分故事中的动物。Zoom认错猴子和猩猩,便以猴子和猩猩为开头。后面引导学生多说,用到所学的形容词,及It has…I like…等句型。后面用自编chant对所学内容进行巩固及拓展。]

Step 3 Extension

1、T:You really did a good job!Do you want to make an animal friend?

T:I have an animal friend.Can you guess? My friend always walk quietly,and it likes to catch the mouse.What’s it? It’s a brown cat,and it has two big eyes.I like it!How about yours? 老师展示自己的动物朋友,并引导学生说出自己的动物朋友cat、dog、duck…

2、出示森林王子和动物朋友一起相处的视频剪辑,将学生带入一个和谐欢乐的美好时光。

T:This is Jack,he has many animal friends.Let’s watch it together!

3、情感教育：Maybe some animals are dangerous,but most

animals are friendly.课件出示Animals are our friends, loving animals is loving ourselves.

[设计说明：本环节为情感教育——动物是我们的朋友。其中以老师的动物朋友图片引导学生说自己生活中的动物朋友，再以小男生的动物朋友视频为落脚点，引出动物是我们的朋友，爱动物就是爱我们自己。]
