本模块是外语教学与研究出版社新标准英语(三年级起点)五年级下册第三模块第2单元第2课时, 主题是Unit2 Sam ate four hamburgers.主要学习英国食物,学习如何用英语询问一日三餐,继续学习一般过去时态的特殊疑问句及其回答。

本单元内容主要用一般过去时的句子来谈论饮食,以问答的形式来谈论别人吃过了什么。

在之前的学习中,学生已经接触过一般过去时态了,所以并不陌生,但是询问他人吃过什么的句型: What did she have for breakfast/lunch/dinner?以及描述他人吃过某食物的句型:Sam ate four hamburgers是本模块教学的重难点。在学习新知识的同时,可以让学生了解中西方饮食文化差异。

Teaching Aims:

1、knowledge aim

(1)学生能够听、说、读写单词:very much, gave, tonight.

(2)学生能够运用句型:What did she have for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

She had eggs and sausages/sandwiches...

Sam ate four hamburgers.

(3)学生能够了解相关的英语饮食文化。

2、ability aim

(1)学生能运用所学句型表达自己的饮食习惯。

(2)学生能有感情地分角色朗读课文。

(3)了解并运用一般过去时询问和回答过去发生的事情。

3、emotion aim

(1)让学生了解中西方饮食文化差异,掌握询问他人一日三餐的表达方式.

(2)课堂上通过食物图片、师生互动展现学生的英语能力,培养学生主动学习英语的积极性。

难点:如何让学生在课堂上学会运用句型:

What did she have for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

She had eggs and sausages/sandwiches/ fish and chips/….并能在生活中灵活运用这些句型。

Teaching Procedure

Step 1 Warming up

1.Greetings.

2.Free talk.

T: Hello, boys and girls.

S: Hello, Miss Lee

T: Did you have a good breakfast? What did you have for breakfast?

S: Yes, I ate...

Step 2 LeadingIn

T: Boys and girls, Last class, we learnt about food, right? Chinese food is different

from English food. Today let’s go to see what did Sam and Lingling have? We will learn unit2 Sam ate four hamburgers.

Step 3 Presentation

1.Show students some new wordsand teach them the

pronunciations.

2.Listen to the tape and ask the students to answer the questions.

3. read the text and find the key sentence.

Step 4 Practice

1. Practice in pairs to practice the past tense.

2. Listen and answer the questions: What did Sam eat at school?

Who had a sandwich?

Did Lingling miss hamburgers?

Where is Amy now?..

3. Make a survey. Three students in a group. One to be the interviewer and ask what did they eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner? And finish the survey.

Then some groups come to the front to show. Teachers give good cards.

4. write a short passage.

Students answer together. The teacher present the key points one by one.

1. Read the text fluently.
