教学过程：

Step1：warming up （1）师问学生：Did you have a good time in your holidays?

Were there any happy things in your holidays? What did you do in your holidays?

选几名同学回答以上四个问题

Step 2: Presentation 1.教师出示两幅生活图片并说：“I live in a small house fifteen years ago.Now I live in a big house.”让学生说说自己以前和现在有什么不同。比如：I was fat then,Now I am thin. I was short then,Now I am tall....教师板书课题“we lived in a small house.”带领学生领读几遍课题。

Step 3:learn activity 1. 2.please turn your book on page 2.listen and read. 3.全班齐读课文。小组内读课文。并邀请学生展示。

4.Have a chant There are , there are two beautiful cats on the chair There is ,there is There is only one now 老师领同学读几遍，全班拍手做动作。

（3）出示单词卡片“change””changing”并写在黑板上,用句子给学生解释单词的意思。

Change改变；changing正在改变（出示两张不同背景的社会生活图片并告诉学生）

China is changing.领读单词change，changing. Step 4 : Learn the text 1.让学生把书翻到2页，第一次听录音整体感知课文内容，主要讲了一件什么事。

第二次听录音，让学生拿出笔圈出新单词

2.出示几张过去和现在生活的照片，并告诉学生Life was very different many years ago in China. But how was it different? 学习单词和短语different, life，many years ago. 3.教师拿出两只不同的钢笔，并说“This pen is blue,this one is black. They are different.” 教师领读单词different,请学生跟读。教师接着拿出语文书和一本英语书，让学生用英语 来描述它们的不同之处。“This is Chinese book.That is English

book. They are different.”

4.出示两所房子的图片，并引导学生描述它们的不同. S:This is a small house . That is a big house . T:They are different. Many years ago we live in a small house.Now we live in a big house.教师板书句子，领读几 遍，并让学生跟读。告诉学生短语many years ago “许多年以前”，用在一般过去式的句 子中，位于句子的开头或末尾。

5.教师说“life is changing.”出示单词卡片“change”用句子给学生解释单词的意思。

Change改变；changing正在改变（出示两张不同背景的社会生活图片并告诉学生）

China is changing.领读单词change，changing. 6.请学生看活动2 picture 1“what is Amy doing?”请学生回答“She is watching TV.”教师补充说“She is watching a television programme about China.”出示单词卡片programme,和television教师多次示范单词发音，请学生跟读。可以开火车读、小组内读单词。

7.教师接着说“Lingling is still in the UK with Sam and Amy.”学习单词still. 8.请同学们看3页图片.教师问学生who are they?出示单词卡片“lady,interviewer”教师领读单词并示范发音，请学生用多种形式读单词。

9.同学们知道老夫人和记者在谈论什么话题吗？听音后小组内讨论并判断下列句子说法是否正确。

( ) 1. We live in a big house . ( ) 2. We lived in a small house many years ago. ( ) 3.There weren’t any televisions. ( ) 4.There aren’t lots of buses and cars. ( ) 5.We had enough food. 10.再次听音，请全班同学跟读。选几名同学描述过去和现在的生活有什么不同。

老师把重点句子写在黑板上，并多次领读黑板上的句子。让学生说说一般过去式和一般现在时的区别。 (注：把any,many,enough,lots

of放在一起讲解，告诉学生这些词都表示数量的多少，别讲解不同的用法) 过去生活 现在生活 There weren’t many televisions. There are lots of buses and cars. We lived in a small house. We live in a big house. We didn’t have enough food We have got lots of food. 11.小组内角色扮演朗读课文，选出优胜组给予奖励。

Step 5. Practise 1. 出示（课件）关于过去和现在生活的图片（大/小房子，公共汽车，食物，电视机）

让学生用There are lots of ... /There weren’t any... We live in .../ we lived in ...描述图片。

2.做Activity 3 用一般现在时和一般过去式谈论小男孩four years ago的生活和 now的

生活有什么不同之处。

Step 6: Homework 调查爷爷奶奶和爸爸妈妈过去和现在生活的不同之处。
