Pre – writing, while – writing and post writing Teaching procedures Step1 . Showing the learning objectives To arouse students’ curiosity and get them prepared for the lesson, students will be asked to read the learning objectives on the whiteboard to make sure what they are expected to do in this class.

pre - writing In order to get students more involved in the class, they will be asked to discuss the following question in groups. What information should be given in an application & how many parts should be included in an application? After that, students will be asked to show their opinions. And I will make the following conclusion:

Then, students will be asked to work in groups to do the following job

What sentences can we used in each part?

While discussing, students will be asked to write as many sentences which are often used in an application as they can.

Ten minutes later, some students will be asked to share their sentences. Step 3. Showing more To help students master more sentences, I will show them more and give some explanation if necessary. Step 4.

While -writing To help students used the learned sentences properly, students will be asked to write an application within 15 minutes by themselves and two students will be invited to write their passage on the whiteboard. 某英文报纸要招聘有一名兼职翻译，要求大学主修英语，有一定的相关工作经验。假设你是李华，这则招聘广告引起了你的兴趣，请用英文写一封求职信。

Step5 . Post - writing After 15 minutes, I intend to ask some students to read their passage out and give some comments on them. More importantly, the articles on the whiteboard will be analyzed with more care. Lastly, the version will be shown. Step 6. Homework

To help students master what they have learned in this class, students will be asked to read the sentences more and memorize the excellent sentences in the version. Step 7. 本节课运用“讨论式”的英语教学模式和采用“任务型”英语教学途径训练学生的写作。注重写作的实践。课堂是写作空间,学生与教师,学生与学生彼此交流,提出反馈或修改意见,学生不断进行写作,修改和再写作。这一过程有利于培养学生的写作能力和自主学习能力。学生由于能得到教师的及时帮助和指导，所以，即使是英语基础薄弱的同学，也能在这样的环境下，写出较好的作文来，从而提高了学生写作兴趣，增强了写作的自信心.
