Unit 8 Our dreams

the first period: Everyone should have a dream.

【教学目标】

(一)知识目标

1. 通过阅读文本,学生能听懂、会说、会读单词:dream, future, an astronaut, a spaceship, a football player, World Cup, a dancer, a pianist, come true

2. 通过文本学习,学生能理解、运用以下句型:What do you want to be in the future? I want to (be)…

3. 学生能够理解课文,自然流利地朗读课文,并表达孩子们的梦想及梦想的理由。

(二)能力目标

1. 能够在阅读过程中通过看图、结合上下文、小组合作等方式猜测课文中大量的生词。

2. 培养学生的观察力、想象力,交流与合作的能力及口语表达能力;

3. 在学习中培养学生学会倾听、预测、提问的能力。

(三)情感目标

1. 能够体会到和别人分享梦想的乐趣。

2.了解每个人都应该有梦想。

2. 根据给出的框架,能写下自己的梦想,贴上梦想墙。

Step 1. Preparation

1.Guess and learn.

Look at the little girl.She has a dream.Can you guess what does she want to be?

Yes,you are clever. She wants to be a teacher.So her dream comes true.Now she is Miss Li.

(通过猜测小女孩的梦想,引出新知“I want to be … in the future”“come true”“dream”,并巧妙地联系到本课的人物李老师)

Step 2. Presentation & Practice

1.Show the title.

T:Today,we will learn a story about dreams.

2. Look and answer.

T:Look, Miss Li is asking the students about their dreams.Look at the pictures,who are they?
