A.基本要求

基本能读懂文章内容，掌握篇章的核心内容。

让学生初步掌握阅读技巧及写作方法。

C.运用能力目标

能够通过读前、读中、读后锻炼阅读能力的同时，使学生的语言综合运用能力得到发展。

D.策略（文化、情感态度、策略）目标

通过完成不同形式的练习发展学生的记忆及获取主要知识的能力。

二、教学重、难点

1. 掌握文章中的新词汇，能够读懂文章，掌握一定的阅读技巧，并提高学生的综合语言运用能力。

2. 通过阅读文章,尝试复述内容。

三、学生特征分析

本课的教学对象是五年级的学生。这些学生年龄在十、十一岁左右，这个阶段的学生学习兴趣不是很高，部分学生学习目的性不强，学习的自觉性不够，注意力不够集中，容易被新鲜好奇的事物所吸引而激发学习兴趣，竞争意识也比较强。因此，在本课时本人利用学生感兴趣的游戏设计切合实际的教学情境，引入主题依次展开话题，授课过程中为他们提供一定的学习的方法和途径，设计生动有趣的课堂活动，在激发兴趣的同时培养学生的英语学习兴趣,培养他们英语自主学习的能力，让学生在和谐的课堂气氛中快乐学习。
