一、Teaching contents

本课的教学内容是PEP小学英语五年级上册第四单元What can you do?Story time内容，是一节故事课型。学生在前面已经学习了What can you do ?及回答。本部分呈现的是田鼠如何机智德摆脱被蛇吃掉的厄运，在紧张的故事情节中复习巩固本单元核心词汇与句型。

二、Teaching aims

通过阅读趣味故事，复习巩固本单元核心语言，增加语言的输入，复习巩固单元核心句型What can you do ?Can you…?能够理解并朗读故事，并能够在教师的帮助下表演故事。

三、Teaching importance

教师帮助学生通过上下文理解句子的意思，Don’t throw me into the lake. 和Silly snake.

Step 1.Warm-up(热身)

（设计理念：教育家托尔斯泰说过，成功的教学不是强制，而是让学生积极地投入到课堂中。Let’s chant/ Let’s ask and answer可以让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中尽早进入英语课堂，营造民主和谐的课堂氛围。复习旧知，是为了激活学生的原有知识和经验，为新课做铺垫。）

Step 2．Presentation(新课呈现

What’s this? S answer: It’s a snake. It’s a rat. T says: Yes, today this story is about snake and rat. But what happened between the snake and the rat? Let’s go and watch cartoons. 教师播放故事动画，学生带着问题观看后引导学生回答问题What happened between the snake and the rat? ( 蛇与老鼠间发生了什么？) The snake

) A . play with the rat B . eat the rat 2. 学生自由朗读故事圈出新单词，教师帮助学生扫除单词障碍（Open the book and read the books by yourself，circle the new words）.请一个学生把新单词写在黑板上并请学生解决，在语境中习得知识。

3.T asks: What’s the title of this story? 播放动画，让学生小声跟读，模仿语音语调，回答问题。

4. 分句子跟读表演。教师播放故事中每一个图片和句子，听音再跟读然后分角色表演，先是小组表演，然后个别学生合作表演。让学生熟记故事中的每一句话并能配上动作表演。教师加上态势语让学生体会Don’t throw me into the lake和Silly snake的意思。

5.Ask and answer.学完故事后引导学生回答问题

3.Why? （设计理念：呈现方式多样化，在情境中呈现新知，能充分调动学生的各种感官去感知语言，激发学生的好奇心和求知欲，激发学生学英语的学习积极性。教师要注意语言的示范性教学，对于发音较难或易

错的词要进行较为细致的示范性教学，教师要注意指导学生仔细听音，观察老师口形，及时对学生发音进行评价纠误。做得不好的及时纠错，做得好的及时表扬。德国教育家斯多惠说过，教育的艺术不在于传授本领,而在于激励、唤醒、与鼓舞."这句话充分说明了对学生评价的作用）。

（设计理念：学完故事后，我采用了形式多样的操练环节进行巩固。活动由易到难，层层深入。即遵循学生的认知规律，又极大的激发学生的学习兴趣。力求做到玩中学，学中玩。）
