Greet the class. 2. Free talk. Show them the picture, then ask and answer What’s in the nature park?

3. I can describe.

Show the picture of another park and have some individuals to describe with There is /are…. Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1. Show the picture of a village and say Look! There is a village near the nature park. Lead out village and have the Ss to read with the phonetics symbol. Practice in groups. 2. Ask the Ss What’s in the village? Have some individuals to talk about their ideas.

3. Show the picture of a bridge

and ask what’s in the village? Help the Ss to say There is a bridge in the village.

Lead out bridge and practice with high low voice game. 4. With the question What’s in the village? Guide the students to say about it and then lead out building, house & tree.

5. Guide the Ss to learn the words by the phonetics symbols. Then practice the words with clapping hands, high and low voice and hang man. 6. Pay attention to the words of building and house. Help the Ss to distinguish the differences between the two words.

Step 3 Consolidation & Extension 1. Check the difficulties.

T asks with the sentence pattern Is there a …in the village? Are there any…in the village? Then Ss talk with their partners and write about the picture on Page62.
