教学过程：

热身／复习 (Warm-up／Revision) 1)

发给学生每人一张白纸，教师发指令，要求学生画画。教师：Draw a bedroom in your room.Draw a bed in your bedroom .Draw a desk in your bedroom……. 2)教师让学生互相介绍各自所画的画，并用上所学句子，如：This is my home .This is my bedroom .There is a new bed and anew chair in my bedroom . 2、新课导入（Presentation）

初步感知本课词汇，教师拿出生词卡片:TV sofa armchair ,让学生告诉老师，这些物品应摆在家中的哪个房间，重点介绍单词livingroom 。

巩固词汇。教师通过范读和解释说明强调和明确三个词的读音和含义，同时发挥学生的想象力让学生为这三个单词各设计一个动作，如：双手比划一个长方形来表示TV;双手抱臂做坐下动作来表示sofa；双臂架起做坐下动作来表示armchair。再通过以下游戏来巩固所学词汇：教师读出单词，让学生来做相应的动作。此步骤能向学生输入单词的正确发音，使学生理解教师所读单词的含义，在此基础上才能做出与单词相对应的动作来。然后转化角色，教师来做其中某一个动作，让学生来猜一猜是哪一个单词。

初步感知本课对话内容。教师出示本课教学挂图，教师引导学生问答。T:Where are Kate and Li Yan ?Are they at home ?Ss: Yes. T:Are they in the bedroom? Ss: No . T:Where are they ? Ss: They are in the living room? 此段对话的目的为了复习home ,bedroom ,living room . T:What’s in the living room ? Ss: There is a new TV.此段对话学习句式What’s in the ……?同时复习句式：There is a new……T: What’s in the living room ? Ss:sofa/armchair/kite/balloon/clock .教师展示教学挂图，引导学生说出图画上的所有物品。T:How many sofas ?Let’s count .Together :One ,two .two sofas . T:There are two sofas in the living room .Together : There are two sofas in the living room .教师以同样的方式，让学生跟读一下句子：There are four armchairs .There are three kites .There are four ballons . There is a big clock . 4)

巩固本课课文内容。教师播放录音，让学生跟读，并请学生分角色表演对话。
