Unit 6 How many? Part C 一、学情分析：

虽说三年级的学生，英语刚刚起步。但是仅仅让学生学习书本知识，大多数孩子都会有吃不饱的感觉。为了满足学生的心里需求，我会针对书本知识进行延伸与拓展。本节课所学故事比较简单，根据学生的实际情况，我拓展了短语“fruit garden, pick apples”及句子“Who can pick more apples?”的教学。

二、教学内容：

1. 单词“ only, won”的读音与意思。

2. 短语“fruit garden, have a race, pick apples”的读音与意思。

3.

P65的故事。

三、教学目标：

1. 学生能认读单词“ only, won”，并知道它们的意思。

2. 学生能认读短语“fruit garden, have a race, pick apples”，并知道它们的意思。

3. 学生能流利朗读P65故事，并能表演故事。

四、教学重点：

1. 单词“ only, won”的读音与意思。

2. 短语“fruit garden, have

a race, pick apples”的读音与意思。

3. P65的故事。

五、教学难点：

1. 单词“ only”的读音与意思。

2. 短语“have a race”的读音。

3. 学生能在故事情境中脱离文本表演故事。

磁铁、课件和音乐配乐。

七、教学过程：

Step 1. Warm-up

1.

Let’s sing a song: Happy Children’s Day.

T and Ss sing and perform together.

2. Free talk:

1) T: Yesterday was Children’s Day. You got gifts. Please tell me: How many gifts do you have?

Ss answer individually: I have ___ gifts.

2) T: Today I have gifts for you, too. What do you want?

Ss answer individually: I want some ______.

3) T: Do you like fruit?

Ss answer individually: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. When a S answers with the sentence: Yes, I do.

T: You like fruit. What’s your favourite fruit? S: My favourite fruit is ______.

4) T: Do you know what Miss Zheng’s favourite fruit is? You can ask me together: Miss Zheng, What’s your favourite fruit? T: My favourite fruit is apples. Apples are good for me. Apples are good for you. So let’s eat apples every day. Get Ss to say “Apples are

good for you. Apples are good for me. Let’s eat apples every day” together.

Step 2. Presentation and practice 1

1. So my gifts for you are apples. Now let’s go to the fruit garden and pick apples. CAI shows the pictures and phrases: fruit garden, pick apples. Teach Ss the two phrases.

2. Look! There is a big apple here. Wow! So many apples. (黑板上画着一棵大树，很多红色的或绿色的圆的磁铁代表小苹果。)Let’s have a race. Who can pick more apples? Look! Some apples, more apples. Teach “more”. Then teach “more apples”. At last teach the sentence: Who can pick more apples?

3. Two Ss come here. You have a race. Who can pick more apples? Teach “have a race.”

4. Two Ss come to the blackboard. One acts as A, the other acts as B. T acts as C. Act the following dialogue:

A: Let’s have a race. Who can pick more apples?

B: Good idea!

C: One, two, three, go! Stop!

How many apples do you have?

A: I have ____ apples.

B: I have ____ apples.

C: ____, You won. (C指着苹果多的一个，叫他的名字并说：You

won.)

5. Now let’s act the dialogue out:

A: Let’s go to the fruit garden.

B: Great!

A: Let’s pick apples.

B: OK.

A: Let’s have a race. Who can pick more apples?

B: Good idea!

C: One, two, three, go! Stop! How many apples do you have?

A: I have ____ apples.

B: I have ____ apples.

C: ____, You won. (C指着苹果多的一个，叫他的名字并说：You

won)

1) T acts the dialogue out with some students. (T demonstrates)

2) Three students in a group. Practice acting the dialogue out.

3) Get three Ss in a group. Come to the front and show their performance. Step 3. Presentation and practice 2

1. We pick apples in the fruit garden. Today, Zoom and Zip are picking apples in a fruit garden, too. They have a race, too. Who can pick more apples? Let’s go and have a look. Get Ss to watch the video of the story.

2. This time, watch the video, listen and repeat.

3. Look, listen and imitate. Try to read beautifully.

4. Read in roles. T read the role of Zoom. Ss read the role of Zip. Then the T and Ss change the roles.

5. Let’s act.

1) T acts the story out with some students. (T demonstrates)

2) Three students in a group. Practice acting the story out.

3) Get three Ss in a group. Come to the front and show their performance.

Step 4. Let’s sing

T: Zoom and Zip pick apples. We pick apples, too. Apples are round. Apples are sweet. Now let’s sing a song: Apple Tree.
