Kitty: Eddie, what’s this?

Eddie: Oh! It’s a monkey. It’s brown. It’s thin.

Kitty: Wow, what’s that?

Eddie: It’s a tiger. It’s orange and black. It’s big.

Kitty: I see black and white. What’s that?

Eddie: It’s a panda. It’s fat.

Kitty: Look! It’s a panda, too.

Eddie: No, no, no. It’s not a panda.

Kitty: No? What’s this?

Eddie: It’s a bear. It’s brown. It’s big and fat.

1. Warming up Contents

让学生自己分角色扮演，在朗读过程中明白panda的特点。

用语音让学生辨别熊猫和熊。

用儿歌的方式将bear和pear

两个相似容易5-2 Chant 混淆的单词进行区分。

从之前的范5-3 Complete the 文，到后来的dialogue and pair works. 给提示完成，- 5 -

Post-task 1. Read the four 1-1 What animals can words Eddie and Kitty see in activities the zoo?

2. Read and act 2-1 Kitty is very happy. She takes some pictures. Now she shows her pictures to her friend. What will they talk about?

2-2 Read the model and invite pairs of students to act it out.

1. Read the book on page 42; 到现在的完全没有提示，让学生根据之前的内容反馈出几个句型来描绘一个动物,并进行角色扮演。

通过“消失了哪一个”这一游戏帮助学生复习本节课新授的四个单词。

注重故事的完整性，让学生感受到Kitty在动物园中的精彩瞬间。

通过读一读，选择不同的难度，试着演一演，激发学生的学习兴趣，巩固知识点。

最后点明本课的情感目标。
