三．情景解疑

这是一个省略式的感叹句。感叹句常用what或how引导，具体结构如下：

(1)

what (+ a / an) + adj. +n. (+主语+谓语); (2)

how + adj. (+ a / an)+ n. (+主语+谓语); (3)

how + adj. / adv. + (+主语+谓语). 2. We ate great meals (which were) cooked by experts. 该句中，cooked by experts 为过去分词短语作定语。过去分词短语作定语，通常置于被修饰词之后，分词所表示的动作与被修饰词之间存在着逻辑上的被动关系，且表示该动作已经完成，可转换成定语从句。

3. We saw abandoned farms which were built more than a hundred years ago. 单个的过去分词作定语，常可置于被修饰词之前或之后。

much用来修饰比较级，表示程度的加深。在形容词前可以用：much, a little, a bit, a lot, rather, no, any, (very) much, far, even, still, yet等副词来修饰。

（时间上的）不再，相当于not…any longer.

9. allow doing sth

allow sb. to do sth.→sb. be allowed to do sth.
