T: What sports events did you see while watching the video? I have prepare some sports event to you. Please speak out their Chinese name. T: Now, do you want to know more about Olympics? Step 2:Fast Reading Give students a text reading video and prepare 3 questions for them to answer. Step3: Reading strategy. Introduce student what is a speech and ask them to read the tips of how to make a good speech. Step3:Detailed Reading 1.

Ask students to read the whole paragraphs quickly and find its structure and main idea of each part. Give them several chart to choose and sentences to link with. 2.

Ask students to read part two loudly to fill the blanks about the history of Olympics. 3.

Ask students to read part three carefully to finish the form about famous athletes. Step4:Discussion and sharing 1.

Lead students to talk about their favorite sports events and share it with classmates
