Good morning, ladies and gentlemen..It’s my great honor to be here to share my teaching thoughts with you.My name is Zhaoyeguangzi.I come from Tao Chang Primary School. Today I am going to talk something about PEP primary English ,Book 1, Unit3 Colours letters and sounds.I will present my lesson from5 parts. Ⅰ.Teaching Analysis 1)Text book This lesson is taken from Unit2 colours letters and sounds. It belongs to the spelling aspect.

2).Analysis of students 1.

The Ss are in grade 3, they contact with English for a short time, but they have a basic impression of the 26 letters, and they have learnt some

easy words:book,bag crayon…

The students are active, curious. They are very Interested in playing games as well as doing missions . but they lack of concentration.

3)Teaching aims Knowledge and ability aims: 1.Enable the Ss to know the listening ,speaking ,reading and writing of ABCD and the sounds of the letters in the words.

2.Ss can listen, speak and read the 8 words(apple,ant, book ,bag ,cat,crayon,dog,duck) 3.Ss can know the sound of A B C D in the words. 3.Emotion aims: Ss can feel the beauty of the English writing,they can find English all around their life. Ss can get a strong consciousness of corporation. Key points and difficult points Key point:1.Ss can listen,speak,read,and write ABCD,correctly

Teaching and learning methods Teaching method In order to make students master new words and target aims, and to get effective learning skills from communication and cooperation with each other. I used different teaching methods in each activity. Such as: 1.Communicative teaching method（交际教学法）

2.TPR（全身反应教学法）

3.Task-based teaching method（任务教学法）

Learning methods Cooperative ,Discussing, Reading IV. Teaching procedure Step1.Greeting and Lead-in T: Hello,boys and girls, nice to meet you. Ss:...... Tell a story:zoom want to go to the letter World.so he get up early and take a train, the train will pass some stations ,each station means a mission. He must finish all the missions to get an entrance ticiket.would you like to help him? In this way, Ss can be attracted and have Interests in learning English. Step2. Presentation

1.do the missions 1)Present A

Act as an ant (I’m ant, I see a big apple. Wow,a big apple,I like it!) to let the Ss have a basic impression of the 2 words(ant , apple).

Let them watch a video to learn letter Aa from 3parts(pronunciation, writing ,location).

Let Ss to read the 2 words(in groups,individually)and think about the sound of A:/a/.

Do a chant about Aa. 2)Present B

Show a magic!(combine 1 and 3 together to show them a B ).

Show them the 2words:book,bag,and the sound of B:/b/

Do a chant. ,but this time is different: let the Ss to read it by themselves.

Enjoy a song of letter B Students are the main body of English studying. I used Task-based teaching method to lead all the students to get their own ways of

English learning. 3)Present C Show the Ss a moving crayon to draw a cat.

I taught C by showing a video ,the same way as letter A. Can your imitate a chant about C?(fill in the blanks) It can cultivate Ss abilities step bu step and the blank likes the guide,if there is no blank ,just imitate freely,Ss may have no idea. Enjoy a song of letter B 3)Present D

Take the Ss to visit a farm by showing them a picture of a farm.

Let the Ss learn the words: dog,duck. And I also pay attention to the difference between b and d.

Until now, Ss have finished learning the 4 letters, then, we sing a song of D to have a rest. 3.Practice I use 4 kinds of activities to achieve the main target aims 1)Play a game 从错乱的字母中找出Aa Bb Cc Dd,看谁最快！

2)Listen and circle.

Listen to the tape and circle the right words to review the first letter sounds.

3)Play a word game. Ss can read the moving words as quickly as possible to compete with their partners 。

4)Bingo time Give Ss several papers to circle the words according to what they heard in groups. (当所圈的单词成为一条线时，学生说：Bingo!比比谁发现的bingo 多)

After that, we will celebrate that we have finished all the missions to sing a song

These various activities support students with different intellegence to learn the knowledge firmly in a relaxed circumstance,as well as texting their listening,speaking and reading.

4.Production Go to see the Interesting Letter World. Let the Ss to know more about the abbreviations of the big words in the real world:KFC,SOS... 5.Homework Here are the homework I gave them: 1. Finish “Write and Say”

To explore and find more letters or English in their life. Through their homework,they can get different smile faces, it can just satisfy different levels of the Ss. Blackboard design:

V.Teaching reflection

1. Reflected my class, I found my teaching aims are very reasonable and suitable for the students. What are the teaching aims in the lesson? The baton, and all the activities in the teaching process are focused on achieving the goals. So I revised my teaching aims many times, and deleted the part: try to spell ,which is a little difficult to achieve. 2. In this lesson ,I just let the students to enjoy the happiness of the sound learning, so I created a real situation of a story in which students just finished one thing : do the missions .And the missions are integrated in this lesson which links from the beginning to the end .It just like a line to string scattered peals into a beautiful necklace. 3.At the same time, I introduce the chant. Because the sound can not be taught isolated .It must be taught

in a context .And also the thythm of reading the chant

makes the sound

learning more interesting. As the task of the chant

become more and more difficult, the level of the students’abilities

also

become more and more higher。

In fact, sound learning may be a little boring, but I found it can be so interesting when we try to do something !
