Teaching aims: (1)Aims on the knowledge

①Enable Ss to review the words and distinguish “any&some”.

②Get Ss to be familiar with the important sentence pattern.

(2)Aims on the abilities

①To develop Ss abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. And connecting the singular and plural sentence.

②To improve Ss abilities of making conversation.

③To train Ss ability of working in groups and finish the worksheet.

Aims on the emotion ①Develop Ss consciousness of good co-operation.

②Make Ss know how to express their love to the nature.

⑴Warming up ①Teacher says hello to everyone and leads the title of Unit 6 “In a nature park”. ②Teacher shows some pictures of the words in PPT and reviews them with students. Eg: forest, tree, house….

③Teacher shows two beautiful pictures of nature park in Foshan and

asks students “What’s in the nature park?”; students review these sentences patterns “There is/are…in the nature park”. At the same time, teacher leads to the new knowledge.

⑵Present new knowledge 1)Teacher tells students how to talk about nature park with friends then shows the singular sentence “Is there a … in the nature park/…?” and the plural form “Are there any ….s in the nature park/…?”At the same time, teacher put these important sentences cards on the blackboard.

2)①Teacher shows students the hand-made card ““What’s this?” and put “”, asks students ”&“tree” to the correct place on the singular sentence on the blackboard; teacher shows students the hand-made card “”, and put “”&“tall

to the correct place on the singular sentence on the blackboard. ②Teacher teaches students to read these two whole sentences.

③Teacher tells students how to answer these singular sentence and put “Yes, there is./ No, there isn’t.” on the blackboard. ④Teacher teaches Ss to read these two answer for two times. 3)①Teacher shows students another hand-made card ““”, and put ”&“trees” to the plural sentence on the blackboard; teacher ”, and put “”&“tall

②Teacher teaches students to read these two whole sentences.

Teacher asks questions, students answer question:

⑶Study new language 1)①Teacher shows students some traveling photos about nature scenery. And asks students take out their traveling photos. ②Teacher invites some team to put their photos into the box. Then teacher choose one photo by photo from the lucky box. ③Students answer teacher’s question if he was the lucky one by the singular sentence or plural sentence. 2)

①Students do a survey with their own photo in group. They

should ask at least 3 classmates and tick the form in worksheet. ②Teacher asks some group to make these dialogue. 3)

①Students think four questions about “Let’s talk” in PPT. 1.

②Students watch and study the video of “Let’s talk”

③Students have 2 minutes to answer the questions on worksheet. ④Students check the answer and understand the context of “Let’s talk” by teacher’s analyzing.

⑷Practice new language ①Students read “Let’s talk” after the video sentence by sentence.

②Students take out their own hand-made hat “Zhang Peng”

and “Miss White”, then make a role-play of “Let’s talk” for two times, each students act for two roles in all.

③Students stand up and answer the blanking sentence of “Let’s talk” quickly.

④Teacher teaches students the extension knowledge of “some”

& “any”

and gives students 1 minute to finish the exercise in worksheet. Then check the answer with students together. ⑸Summary & Consolidation Teacher asks students what have they learnt in this class and shows the important sentences to students. Then students read the important sentence together. A: Are there any tall buildings in the nature park? B: No, there aren’t. A: Are there any animals? B: Yes, there are.
