一、教学目标

二、教学内容

本课教学内容是人教PEP小学英语五年级上册U nit 4 What can you do? C部分中的

Story time，教学故事Rat and Snake。通过创设田鼠机智地逃脱被蛇吃掉的厄运这个真实的情景，在紧张的故事情节发展中复习巩固本单元核心词汇sing、dance、swim与句型What can you do? I can... . Can you...? Yes, I can / No, I can't. 教学围绕“蛇能否吃掉鼠”这条主线层层展开。本课故事图文并茂，趣味横生，难度中等，文中动物对话的语音语调也十分生动，可以大大提升学生学习的参与度。教师通过观察图片和师生互动帮助学生理解故事，并通过阅读故事激发英语学习兴趣，同时通过表演、创编获得英语学习的成功体验。这一故事教学的重点在于让学生理解故事，巩固本单元核心知识，并在教学中通过丰富的过程性评价帮助学生树立自信。

三、学习重点和难点

重点：使学生能够通过猜想、预测、观察及互动理解故事，巩固本单元核心词汇sing、dance、swim与句型What can you do? I can... . Can you...? Yes, I can / No, I can't. 难点：复述、表演故事。
