上节课有部分同学在写作时遇到了一些困难,说明对一些动词短语掌握不扎实。希望通过这节课的学习对他们有帮助。
教学目标:
知识目标:
1. The students can read the passages of “Read and write” and complete the fourth pictures. 2. The students can read the words correctly and sum up the phonetic symbol /tʃ/,/dʒ/. 能力目标:
Develop the abilities of reading and writing .
情感目标:
To know something about foreign important festivals, like thanksgiving and Halloween, respect the foreign culture. 教学重点:
1.To read the passages of “Read and write”. 2. The phonetic symbol /tʃ/,/dʒ/. 教学难点:
1. The pronunciation of“ Halloween ”.
2. Write the little passage.
教具准备:
a recorder, PPT
教学时间:2课时
教学流程:
一、复习检测(Words “July, August, September, October, November, December” and their abbreviations)
二、Check, match and read. a. Show out the words and ask students to read.
b. listen to the tape, read the words loudly. c. Ask students to sum up the the phonetic symbol“ch /tʃ/” “dge /dʒ/”.
三、新课传授
1.巧妙导入:Sing a song “Christmas Is Coming.”
2.引出主题:(1)T: Do you know foreign festivals? What are they?(Show out the PPT of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween) (2)T: Now let’s read and know something about foreign festivals. 3.解决难点:The teacher asks students to look at the pictures and read the passages by themselves,learn to say “thanksgiving, Halloween”.
4.听音感知:
Listen to the tape and read the passages. 5.默读初始:Read silently and circle the words “together,decorate, presents, masks, trick, treat”.
6.朗读探知:Read loudly and answer the questions
Q1: When is Thanksgiving?
What do people do onThanksgiving? Q2: When is Christmas?
What do people do on Christmas?
Q3: When is Halloween?
What do people do on Halloween? 7.听音跟读:Listen and read after the tape. 8.角色朗读:小组读、男女读、开火车读、领读、师生对读、角色读。
9.留白处理:留白读,去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。
10.短文示范:Three passagea of “Read and write”
11.学生仿写:Ask students to look at the fourth picture and write some sentences about Spring Festival/Chinese New Year in the groups. At last, students read their little passage. 12.课堂小结:Do the reward time. 13.布置作业:Recite the passage about “Spring Festival/Chinese New Year”.
14.情感升华:After learning the text, we should respect the foreign culture.
