教学过程

Step1: lead-in 【设计意图】通过教师的自我介绍,并和学生交流互动,导入今天的话题,每个人关于时间的安排,经常做些什么事情及是否迟到。

T: Hello!Everyone!

I’m Miss Zhang. I’m very happy to begin our class. T: Now I want to tell you something about me. I usually get up at 6:30. I usually get to school at 7:50. So I’m on time, I’m not late. What about you? Ss: ……

T: You , please…….Thank you. Sit down, please. Step2: Presentation 【设计意图】(通过二个由简到难,有梯度的问题,帮助学生逐步理解课文的含义,理解并掌握课文的重难点。)

一、读前活动

T:

Today we’ll learn a new text about a boy.(板书画出)His name is Scott. What do you want to know about him? S1: When does he usually get up ?

S2: What time does he usually get school? S3: Does he like playing computers?

S4:What does he like to eat? S5:What does he always do at 7:00?

S6: Is he late? S7:Why is he late or not? ……

T: Oh! You have so many questions.

Let’s find out the answer from Lesson 9 Is he late? (板书课题。) 二、读中环节:

1.学生一读,解决第一个问题:

T:

Scott usually does the same thing at the same time every day. Can you find the words about time? Please read the text and find out. (学生阅读并找到时间单词)

T: Yes, you, please…....Great. Sit down please. (教师板书时间词语。)

2.学生再读,解决第二个问题。

T: Now I have another question. What happened on those times? Please read your book carefully and find out the answer. (学生阅读并解决问题)

T: OK. Who can tell me your answer? You please. …... Yes, sit down please. He usually gets up at 6:30. (画出Scott,板书get up)

His mother always makes breakfast at 7:00.(板书)

Scott do morning exercises at 7:10. (板书)

His dad always takes him to school at 8:00. (板书)

Kate says he is early. Then Scott knows the clock in his room isn’t working. (板书)

T: Now. Do you know? Is he late? T: Yes, great. Our answer is “No, he isn’t.”

Step3: Practice 读后环节

【设计意图】(引导学生听音初步复述课文,读出课文,巩固知识。)

T: Now. Let’s listen to the tape, and follow it .

……

Let’s retell the story together. We are all Scott. (师生共同复述课文。)

Step4: Production 【设计意图】(老师介绍自己的一天时间安排,引导学生用英语介绍自己的安排。) T: I want to say. I’m a teacher.

Also I’m a mother. I have to look after my little son every day.

So do you know what I usually do every day? Now, I’ll introduce myself to you about my daily life. (看图表向学生介绍我的一天安排) a.m.

You are so busy. Just like me. \Your day is interesting.
