1.概念

一般现在时表示经常发生的动作或存在的状态。

2.一般现在时中谓语动词的变化

谓语动词一般分为be动词和实义动词。

(1)一般现在时中的be动词变化规律为：我用am

你用are; he, she, it用is；复数人称都用are。

(2)一般现在时中的实义动词变化规律为：当主语

是第一人称、第二人称和第三人称复数时,实义

动词用原形,当主语是第三人称单数时,实义动词

用动词的第三人称单数形式。

3.动词第三人称单数的变化规律

(1)一般情况下,直接在词尾加­s。如：play—plays。

(2)以s,x,ch,sh结尾的动词,在词尾加­es。如：

watch—watches。

(3)以“辅音字母＋y”结尾的词,把y变i再加­es。如：

study—studies。

4.一般现在时的否定句和一般疑问句

含有实义动词的句子变否定句和一般疑问句时,借助于助动词do和does。当主语是第一人称、第二人称和第三人称复数时,用do；当主语是第三人称单数时,用does。变否定句时,在主语后加don’t或doesn’t,谓语动词用原形。变一般疑问句时,把do和does提到主语之

前,谓语动词用原形。如：

(1)I don’t have a soccer ball.

我没有足球。

(2)He doesn’t go to school on Saturday.

他周六不上学。

(3)—Do they have ping­pong bats?

—他们有乒乓球拍吗？

—Yes, they do.
