Abilities Comic Strip & Welcome to the Unit 一．Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: 1. Know the abilities they can do for others. 2. 3.In pairs have the students ask and answer . Step1:Presention 1.

Present and study the new words to the students . 1

Ask the students to read the words after the teacher . 3.

Go through the words with students . Step 3.Practice 1.

Present the students some pictures and ask them to answer some questions . 2.

In pairs have the students make dialogues about the pictures . Step 4.Presention & Practice 1.

Show the students pictures of some birds and Superman and lead in Comic Strip. 2.

Play the video for the students to listen to the conversation between Eddie and Hobo . 3.

Ask the students to answer some questions about the conversation . 4.

Go through the conversation with the students and explain some language points to 2

Ask them to act it out in pairs . Step 4 . Practice ( PartA ) 1.

Show the pictures to the students and go through the phrases with them . 2.

Ask the students to match the pictures with the descriptions . Step 5 .Discussion ( Part B) 1.

Play the tape for the students to listen to the conversation in Part B . 2.
