本课教学设计的思想原则和基本思路：根据新课标，要突出学生自主学习的主体地位的原则，重在培养学生自主，合作，探究精神。突出培养学生的语言运用能力。新课标对各级任务的设定的方式是“学生能做某事”，所以我们在教学中要多采用任务型教学。在教学环节的设计上，我们要多考虑学生的年龄特点及接受知识的能力大小，各教学活动不仅要突出教学目标，还要有层次性。在教学中要多让学生动起来，才能保证学习效率。

教材分析：本课是第6 单元的第一课时，导入户外运动，为后面的学习打下基础，具有举足轻重的作用。要在这一课时尽可能多地让学生了解户外运动，才能激起学生的学习兴趣。

【教学目标】

1. To be able to learn about the names of the outdoor activities .学习户外运动的名称。

2. To be able to talk about their favourite outdoor activities;谈论最喜爱的户外运动。

3. To master the usage of the new words.

掌握生词的用法。

【教学重难点】

重点：To be able to learn.about the names of the outdoor activities .

难点：To be able to talk about their favourite outdoor activities. 【预习指导】

一、同学们，你们能写出你们所知道的户外活动的名称吗？ 二、同学们，你们喜欢哪种户外活动？为什么喜欢呢？ （让学生课前做一些功课，多了解将要学习的内容）

【课堂导学】

Step1 Free talk Ask the students to say some outdoor activities and tell the others their favourite outdoor activities and reasons. T:What outdoor activities do you know? Can you say their names? Which one do you like best? Why? S:

（检查预习情况，对户外运动的名称等内容做简单交流，让学生更快进入角色）

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Show some pictures and ask : Do you know these outdoor activities? Play a guessing game:

Learn the new words about outdoor activities: camping swimming riding skating cycling jogging 2.

Finish Part A----Look at Part A on Page69.Write the correct letters in the boxes. Read and try to remember them. 3.

Give them information about more outdoor activities.

Skiing climbing diving fishing （图片导入，更直观形象，学生容易接受。另外这部分还有猜谜游戏，比较新鲜，更能带动学生的积极性）

Step3 Practise

Part B 1.

Listen to the tape and answer the questions: 1)

What outdoor activities would Amy like to try ? 2)

What about Daniel? 2.

Repeat after the tape and try to find out why they like the two activities ? 3.

Read the conversation . 4.

Explanation. 5.

Ss make dialogues to talk about the outdoor activities they would like to try and the reason. （有听力，有跟读，有回答，还有自主编对话，打开学生的思路，更好地掌握语言知识，不局限于背课文）

Step4 Presentation ( comic strips) 1. Eddie and Hobo are doing an outdoor activity. Look at the picture, and tell me what is it . 2. Listen to the tape with questions 1)Does Eddie like going hiking? 2)What does Eddie ask Hobo to do for him ?

3. Listen again, answer more questions:

1).How does Eddie feel?

2). Is the bag really heavy? 3).Does Eddie complain too much? Ss read after the tape recorder. Step5 Production

Work in pairs to practise the conversation and add some new expressions then ask them to act it out. （有输入，有输出，有表演，充分把所有的学生调动起来，学得更愉快轻松）

Step6 Sum-up

1 Go through the new words and the language points learnt during this lesson. 2 If we want to enjoy outdoor activities, What else should we do ? 3 Do some exercises. （这部分总结语言知识，有讲有练，更贴近学习实际，有助于更好地掌握知识）

1.Review the contents of this lesson. 2. Write a short passage about outdoor activities.
