Step 1: Lead-in 1.

Teacher leads students to do a chant about weekdays and weekends. Do it at least twice to make them get familiar with week. 2.

T: How many subjects are there in your school? What are they? Step 2: Pairwork Two students as a pair to make a dialogue about the following questions: 1.

What’s your favorite day? Why do you like it? Give them one minute and then invite three pairs to do it.

Step 3: Presentation Use the three structures to express themselves: 1.

My favorite subject is..., because it’s... After sharing, correct the mistakes by teacher. Step 4: Listening practice

Before listening, learn about the meanings of the tasks. First listening, check the words you hear in 1a. Second listening, circle the classes David talks about. Last listening, Q&A: 1.

Six students as a group. Task 1: Design a reasonable schedule in groups.

Task 2: Make a conversation like:

Why do you like it?

Reflection

Teacher designed the class well so that most of the students can follow the class step. Every step can have a reasonable connection. From input to output, all the students can take part in the activities. The listening part is a bit difficult for student so

that I can rearrange the task to lead students to understand it better.
