Difficult point: Talk about the schedule for a week. How to ask and talk about favorite subjects. Give some reasons to the answers. Key point: Special question sentences led by what, who and why. The nouns about week. Teaching procedures: Step 1 : Warm- up First, have a dictation about subjects nouns we have learned. Then T asks Students : What day is it today? Ss answer: It’s Friday. T: So who can tell me how many days there are in one week? S1: Seven! T: OK, clever! Now let’s learn what are they. Step 2: Presentation T:Who can talk about the days in a week? Then ask some students to tell. Ss can make some mistakes, T should correct them on time. T: Let’s look at the board. And read after me.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Each word shows with its phonetic. Pay attention to the pronounciation .

Then call somebody to real alone. Then read together. T: We usually work or study from Monday to Friday. So we call these five days weekdays. And Saturday and Sunday are at the end of a week. Sob we call the two days weekends. Let Students understand the difference between weekdays and weekends. Step 3: T: What class do you have on Friday? S1: We have two English classes.

S2: We have one geography class. S3: ... T: How about Wednesday? S4: ... S5: ... T: What do you think of Friday? S6: Happy. Because I can go home. S7: I think Friday is boring, because there are a lot of homework. S8: ... S9: ... T: And how about Saturday? S:... T writes the adj. Students say and make a list on the blackboard. Then teach some adjectives. busy, free, easy, difficult, boring, interesting, funny, cool Step 4: T: Let’s match the words on the left with their opposites on the right.
