Step1：Lead in and warming-up

Guessing game 1. Show a picture of mine and let students guess what my favorite subject. Then guess reason why I like the subject.

2. Present some adjectives of describing attitudes: boring, difficult, interesting, fun,

cool, relaxing etc.

3.Ask and say T:What's your favourite subject and why?What other subject have you learnt? When do you have the class(lead to thewording of the day of the week)? 4.Present the days of the week(from Monday to Sunday) and read aloud. Then explain them. 5. Ask and answer:What’s your favourite day of the week? Why ? Step2 Pre-listening 1.

Assign the task of doing the exercises in 1a: match the words on the left with their opposites on the right. 2.Play the recordings and instruct students about what they are going to do. Step3：While-listening 1. Lead the students to go through the blank and understand how to get information from it. 2. 1b.Listen and check

After-class reflection: Generally speaking, this lesson went smoothly, and trained students'listening problem-solving skills and good listening habits. Students are efficient in completing tasks and have high overall enthusiasm. I made full use of students'subjective initiative of problems solving and let students learn actively. I encouraged students to improve their interest in study. However, on the one hand, there are still some poor students students who are not positive enough to participate in learning and discussion. On the other hand, because the content and knowledge of this lesson is not enough for some good students. It may lead to some excellent students'desire for knowledge can not be satisfied.
