七年级学生才从小学步入初中，大部分学生是没有一点基础的，但经过前面一个单元的学习，学生能掌握一些简单的问候语，处于入门阶段的学生，对英语有一定的兴趣，但同时又有一定困难，比如口语和书写能力较弱。
