一、单元教材分析

本单元围绕“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”这一话题，展开形式多样的听、说、读、写学习活动。主要学习一周中星期一到星期天的表达方式；掌握学科的表达；学习用because和表示品质的形容词表示理由；学习what，why，who，when引导的特殊疑问句。通过本单元的学习使学生学会谈论自己喜好的学科或自己喜好的其它事情并给出理由；学会说出一周的七天；学会合理地安排自己的作息时间。

二、单元学情分析

本单元的主题是“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”，主要是学习学科的表达、表示品质的形容词、一周中星期一到星期天的表达方式；学习用because表示理由。在询问“对方所喜欢的学科和人物”、“星期几”时，要使用以前所学过的What、Who疑问句，再学习“询问理由”所用的Why疑问句。教师可引导学生通过比较、对照的方法掌握所学疑问句的结构和使用以及回答。

三、课时教学目标：

1. 语言知识目标：

1）

掌握下列词汇：

free, cool, Tuesday, Wednesday, A.M., P.M., useful, from…to, Mrs. finish, lesson, hour, have art lesson…

2）

学习表示星期的名词，并理解星期与日期的区别。

3)

继续复习“谈论偏爱”和“询问喜欢的学科并给出理由”的语言结构；

4）

谈论一周的课程安排，学会合理地安排自己的作息时间。

2. 情感态度价值观目标：

本课时的学习内容贴近学生的学习生活，谈论的话题是喜欢的学科和一周的课程安排。通过互相询问和谈论彼此所喜欢的学科以及彼此理想的课程安排，可以增进同学之间的了解和友情，培养学生热爱学习和良好的学习、生活习惯。

四、课时教学重难点

1. 教学重点：

1）学习表示星期的名词，并理解星期与日期的区别。

2）能谈论他人所喜欢的科目，及原因，询问课程的时间安排。

3）谈论一周的课程安排，学会合理地安排自己的作息时间。

谈论一周的课程安排，学会合理地安排自己的作息时间。

三、教学过程

Ⅰ.

Free talk: The students would be shown the subjects and the adjectives one by one.

They should say something according to the words.

The words would be kept on the screen if it is made of the sentences.

If not, the words would disappear. Ⅱ. Leading-in

Show them a class schedule and teach the days in a week.(Lead the students to teach the others first.) (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday and Sunday)

Read the seven words together and then individually. 3.

Memory test:

Show them the Chinese or the shorten forms of the days of the week, and ask the students to name out the words. Ⅲ. Practice学科网Z,X,X,K]

Show them Sam’s school schedule.

Talk about it by asking and answering the questions below:

---When does David have math?

---When does David have P.E.?

Notice them to answer the question like this:

It’s on ..../ He has ... on .... 2.

Pairwork.

Work in pairs and make up conversations by using the sentences above. Ⅳ. Listening practice

1. Before listening

The students would be given several minutes to read through the schedule and find out what classes David have from Monday to Friday.

2. Now listen to the tape and circle the classes David talks about on this schedule.

(Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the classes David talks about. Then play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers.)

3.

After listening(Group work) Show some adjectives on the class schedule and ask them to make up conversations.

Then show their group work before the class.

Ⅴ. Tasks: 1.

Task 1: Puzzle solving

The students would be shown a uncompleted class schedule.

They should add the missing subjects by searching for the information from the details. 2.

Task 2: Design your own class schedule

The students would be given 5 minutes to work in groups and design the class schedule according to their ideas.

Then the class schedule would be shown in front of the class and the group should introduce their schedule to the rest.(Oral passage)

The scores would be marked. Ⅵ. Homework Writing.

Topic: My school time

The students should try a passage to introduce their class schedule.

The passage should be required to be sent to the QQ group and shared.
