（一）知识目标

1）学习新单词concert, Chinese, instrument, erhu, pipa,violin, guitar. 2）学习新句型

What did they play? Dad played the erhu. And Mum played the pipa. （二）技能目标

1）学会描述过去发生的事件。

2）学会用英语正确表达“演奏某种乐器”。

（三）情感目标

1）通过谈论中国音乐会和中国乐器，对孩子们进行爱国主义教育。

1，学会学习询问和描述过去干的事情。

2、能够掌握重点词、句。

3、能够进行语篇的训练，描述自己过去做的事情。

4、学生能结合一系列的生词和词组，对过去时进行综合运用。

教学基本策略及设计思路

本节课从小学生已有的生活经验着手，巧妙地将学习内容与实际生活紧密联系在一起。例如，复习环节教师先复习play常用短语，然后向学生提问What did you do yesterday?。而后，以“猜猜老师昨晚去哪里了？”，引导孩子们正确使用过去式来表达心中的想法Miss … went to …。新授环节则把学习英语和感受旋律优美的中国音乐结合在一起，学习有关乐器的单词和表达方式，同时让孩子们欣赏到著名的琵琶曲、二胡曲、小提琴协奏曲等
