Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing教学设计

一、教材分析：

本课时是冀教版五年级英语下册第二单元的第一课，课文内容是延续上一单元李明、Jenny、Danny和李夫人一行四人去北京旅行，现在到达北京火车站，在车站谈论的一些话题。教学内容贴近学生生活，有利于培养他们在真实情境中用英语进行交际的能力。本课涉及到了一些复杂的可数名词单数变复数的词汇及句型，在教学中应该注意帮助学生进行归类总结。在口语交际时，也要注意句型中单复数的正确应用。

二、学生情况分析：

本班学生性格活泼，对英语兴趣浓厚，比较喜欢分角色朗读及对话表演等形式。对于名词单复数，学生对可数名词变复数（+s）的形式很熟悉，对其他变复数形式知道的较少。本课中出现的特殊变化形式（men\women\children），学生是初次接触。学生对单复数句型变化有所了解，但应用中还不熟悉，经常会出现错误。在教学中应该注重口语练习，以巩固所学知识。

三、教学目标：

1、知识与技能目标：

（1）使学生能听懂、说出并认读单词“men, women, children, people, many”。

（2）学生能够熟练应用This is a . What is he/she doing? He/She is ing. These are . What are they doing? They are ing.……”等句型进行对话练习。 并能正确运用“ men, women, children”这些名词的单、复数形式。

2、过程与方法目标：

（1）学生通过小组合作学习，能够运用所学英语知识来表达看到的事情，更轻松地进行语言操练，并体验小组合作的收获与愉悦。

（2）学生通过多媒体课件展示，整体感知学习内容，接受语言信息，体验感受旅行的快乐，激发生活情趣。

3、情感态度价值观：

（1）培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感。

（2）增强学生合作意识及良好的竞争意识。

四、教学重难点：

1、使学生掌握单词“men, women, children, people, many”。

2、学生能够利用本课所学知识进行情感交际练习。

Step 1:Class opening and review

出示图片a boy和a girl（复习可数名词变复数加S的）. The boy is a child. The girl is a child, too. Boys and girls are children. (板书children),拼读children=child+ren.区别child 与children. 2、

课件出示men图, Is this a man? ( 课件继续出示句型) No, these are men. / Many men.（拼读men，从音形区别man 与men）板书：men 4、

用同样的形式，课件展示学习woman, women等单词。
