Step 1: Warming Up A.

Read the vocabulary （设计思路：通过复习身体部位词，检测学生掌握单词情况。）

Step 2: Presentation A.

Learn the target sentences “

This is his/ her......”

“

These are his/ her......” by Mickey and Minnie.

T: Do you like Mickey? Ss: Yes, I do. T: This is Mickey’s ......? S1: Ear. T: This is his ear. (Teach the sentence “This is .....” and the word “ his”) T: And these are his ......? S2: Ears. T: These are his ears. ( Teach the sentence “ These are his ......”) In this way, Ss learn the target sentences with the words，Ss practice the target sentences with the vocabulary

( hand/hands, leg/legs, foot/feet, nose, mouth, ear/ears, eye/ eyes, arm/arms)

T: Mickey has a good friend. This is? Ss: Minnie. T: This is Minnie. This is her ......? S3: Hand. T: This is her hand. ( Teach the word “her”

and practice the target sentence “This is her......”) T: And these? S4: These are her hands. ( Practice the target sentence “

These are her ......”)

（设计思路：

利用对比教学，借助学生熟悉的人物Mickey and Minnie呈现句型，让学生更加容易地掌握本课的重点句型，并且利用Mickey and Minnie的身体部位，增加呈现句型的趣味性，且能让学生运用本课的单词结合句型进行操练。）

Step 3: Practice Practice the target sentences and the vocabulary with Mickey and Minnie. ( Teacher cuts Mickey and Minnie’s bodies before the lesson and shows the parts of bodies in this step.) T: Can you help Mickey and Minnie? Ss: Yes. T: What are these? (Show the eyes) Ss: Eyes.

T: Are these Mickey’s eyes? Ss: Yes. These are Mickey’s eyes. T guides the students to use “his” in expression. S1: These are his eyes. ( Go to the blackboard and stick the eyes in Mickey) In this way, Ss practice the target sentences and the vocabulary by saying the sentences and sticking the body parts.

Step 4: Consolidation

A. Show a story about Tom. (The story: Tom was happy. One day, he hurt his eyes. He lost his eyes. He was sad. Can we help him? Yes, we make new eyes for him. He feels happy now. ) T: Mickey and Minnie have a good friend, Tom. There is a story about Tom. Show the story. T: These are Tom’s new eyes. ( Teach the new words “ new”)

B. Team work: Ss work together

T: These are Tom’s friends. Can you help them? ( The figures lose their body parts) ※Team work: Work together and help Tom’s friend make a new body, and

introduce the new body with the sentences “This is his/ her new...”or “These are his/her new...”

（设计思路：通过呈现Tom的故事，再次强化了本课的句型，并借此引入小组合作的活动，小组合作活动目的在于巩固本课句型，激励学生把目标语言投入到口语交际中，同时让学生在小组内给Tom的好朋友画新的身体部位，并结合句型进行介绍，充分发挥小组合作的作用，调动学生学习的积极性，激励学生的参与意识和协作能力，实现课堂教学交际化。）

Step 5: Extension Watch a video about caring the disabled people. T：

What can we do?

We can care the disabled.

（设计思路：通过关爱残疾人这个公益视频，拓宽学生的视野，让其能够更深入地了解中国残疾人的现状，及我们能为其做什么，应该怎样做。）

Practice:

Draw a picture of body with shapes. Draw a picture with different shapes, and introduce your picture with the sentences “This is his /her...” , “ These are his/her...”

（设计思路：这是一个课堂小练习，学生通过用不同形状画出不同的人物形象，利用本课的句型进行正确的表达，同时，奇形怪状的人物具有一定的趣味性，能激发学生积极运用目标语言进行表达，也激发学生参与活动的积极性。）

Step 7:

Summary Summarize the sentences “This is his/her…”, “These are his/her…”

( eye, eyes, ear, ears, nose, mouth, leg, legs, foot, feet, arm, arms)

(设计思路：把纷繁的知识点进行梳理，使学生进一步明确学习目标，把握重难点。)

Step 8: Homework: Draw a picture about your friend and introduce his/her body with the sentences. (设计思路：通过让学生画一幅好友的画像，并进行介绍，加强本节课重、难点的巩固，成为本节课课堂教学的延续和拓展。)
