Watch a moving video between a mum and a daughter. Pay attention to what they said. Explain the rules of four sentence structures of indirect speech Step Two: exercises for Statements

Listen carefully and write down the sentence you heard. Then change it into Indirect Speech Step Three: exercises for Questions (an Interview)(pair-work) Suppose the girl in the video graduated from university and came to our class. One student ask questions as an interviewer, the other student retell what his/her partner said.

Step Four:

Show two Imperatives from the video and asked the students to analyse the differences between them (clarify the differences of commands and requests & the sentence structures in Indirect Speech ).
