学会用”want to”表达意愿。

教学过程:

Step One:Warm up Greet and chant. Step Two:Presentation 1.

T:(T shows some photos)I like travelling very much.Look at these photos.I took them in Guilin.There are lots of beautiful mountains and lakes in Guilin.Do you like

travelling?Do you want to Guilin?Where do you want to go? S1:I want to go to Beijing. S2:I want to go to Xinjiang. 2.

让学生反复运用”want”表达自己想去的地方。

T asks,Ss answer: T:Do you want to go to Shanghai? S1:Yes,I do. S2:No,I don’t. 反复让学习操练以上这个句型及其回答方式。

Step Three:New Lesson 1.T shows Ss a picture of the UN Headquarters and ask them what it is.Then discuss some simple facts about the UN. Examples: T:What’s this? Ss(suggest various answers) T:This is the UN building.(教师板书:the UN building)

And where is it? Ss(suggest various answers) T:It’s in New York. 2.

Have the Ss to close their books.T plays the tape.Ss listen carefully and answer the question:Who is talking on the tape?(Simon’s dad.Simon and Daming .)

T plays the tape for the second time.After listening to the tape,Ss answer the following questions: (1)

Is the UN building big or small? (2)

Where are the flags? (3)

How many flags are there? (4)

What does Simon want to show to Daming? (5)

What is the present? (6)

What does Daming want to do? 4.

Ss open their books.T plays the tape for the third time.Ss read after it and underline the new words.T writes them on the blackboard.Then T teaches Ss to read them. 5.

Ss read the dialogue by themselves,and find the sentences about “want to”. 6.

Ss act out the dialogue in groups of three. Step Four:Practise 1.

Guessing game: SA mimes some activities he wants to do,SB has to guess what the activities are.Then take it in turns to do the mimes. Example: SA(mimes swimming) SB:Do you want to swim? SA:Yes!I want to swim.

SB(mimes flying a kite) SA:Do you want to fly a kite? SB:Yes,I want to fly a kite. 2.

完成SB Unit One活动4 (提醒学生注意”want”第三人称单数的用法)

Step Five:Homework 1.

Read the dialogue and introduce the present from China to the family. 2.

调查家人的假期旅行意愿,下节课和小组成员分享。
