Teaching procedure Step1 Warming - up Listen and sing a song WHAT'S THIS?
(At the begining of the class, it can create active classroom atmosphere and attract students’
attention to the class.)
Step2 Presentation Activity1 T:What’s this?(show a photo of a bag) S:包. T:Yes, it’s a bag. T:Now what’s this?(show a photo of a kite) S:It’s a kite. T:Yes, it’s a kite. Is it a cat? S:No,it isn’t. (This step aims to help students review the pattern “It is a ....”and learn the important word “bag”. Activity2 T: I can’t find my bag,where’s my bag? Who can tell me?(teacher hides the bag) S: It’s here. T: Oh...,it’s in Wendy’ desk. T: Now where’s the book? S: It’s in the yellow bag. (Lead students to answer) T: Now where’s the bag? Is it in the green bag? S: Yes, it is ./No, it isn’t.(Lead students to answer) (In this way,students can master the important patterns“Where’s the ...?”

Step3 Practise Can you guess?
Let students close their eyes and then put an apple in some places where they don’t know,let students open their eyes and guess where’s the apple with the patterns “Where’s the ...?”and “Is it in the ...?” and teacher answer with “Yes, it is./No,it isn’t.”
