热身（Warm-up）

教师播放教材P15 Let's chant的录音，学生边做动作边说：

The man is the father, tall, tall, tall!

The woman is the mother, not so tall.

That's the son, small, small, small. They are a family, one and all! 二、

复习（Revision）

让学生两人一组，就各自的家庭照片进行对话练习：

S1: Who's that man?

S2: He's my dad.

S1: Who's that woman?

S2: She's my mum.

三、新课呈现（Presentation）

1．教学新单词：grandfather, grandpa来源@~:中国教育出&版网#]

教师出示自己家庭的照片并介绍：This is a photo of my family. This is my father and this is my mother. Look at this man, he's old.

He's my father's father. Guess, who's he? Yes, he's my grandfather.(板书：grandfather)

教师带读grandfather。讲解：grandfather在口语中可以说成grandpa(板书：grandpa)，然后让学生拿着自己家庭的照片介绍：He's my grandfather.

2．教学新单词：grandmother, grandma

教师出示自己奶奶的照片介绍说：This is an old woman. She's my father's mother. Guess. Who's she? 引导学生说：grandmother（板书：grandmother）然后带读grandmother，讲解：grandmother在口语中可以说成grandma(板书：grandma)。总结：在英语里，爷爷、外公都称为grandfather．奶奶和外婆都称为grandmother。

3．制作family tree，教学单词family教师在板书grandfather和grandmother的基础上，边介绍家人边将板书补充成：

教师指着家庭树与学生进行问答：

T: What's this?

Ss: It's a tree.

T: Yes. It's my family tree. How many people are there in my family?

Ss: Seven.

T: Who are they?

Ss: Grandfather, grandmother, father. mother, sister, brother and you.

(1)教师播放chant录音，让学生小声吟唱，体会chant的节奏。

(2)再放chant录音，让学生大声跟唱。

(3)让学生配上动作边演边唱。

(4)用dad、mum或father、mother替换grandpa和grandma来进行表演。

活动方式：让学生利用自己家庭成员的照片画出自己的家庭树，然后同桌间用英语介绍各自的家庭成员。
